Hi everyone! This video should be super helpful in teaching you how to work with circles and curved surfaces! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below! :)
I've built an entire water plant from my drawings thanks to your insights , I'm a, concrete superintendent and I've been following you for the past 2 years now , I've learned everything that I know thanks to your extensive library of tutorial videos , thanks for inspiring us
What a treasure trove this series has been. Thanks for all the tips!

Glad I've been able to help! The subscriber battle is just to make the whole thing a bit more fun, but I'm much happier that the videos are helpful 👍
I give great appreciation for your hard work
This is great! Thanks soo much!
Not something I have used much before, but now I have a much greater understanding of pipes and circles… great stuff, thank you 😊

Awesome! Even if you don't model piping much, the fundamentals apply to a lot of other shapes as well! :)
Great tutorial. I'll be watching it many times.

Well once the series is done, it'll still be there, so take your time :)
The videos are great. Just FYI when dabbing pipe the bolts are aligned in what’s called a “2 bolt” pattern. This is to insure flanges align correctly in the field. The pipe fitter set the flanges up where 2 of the top bolt holes are aligned equally distance away from the 12 o’clock position. In a 4 bolt flange the bolts would be at 45 degrees on either side of top center.
that was very informative thanks Sir!❤

very informative sir
Can you do a tutorial on how to make a spring with smooth 90's at each end as an attachment point ? I have yet to find one. Been following your tutorails for years now , extremely helpful, ty.
ground in just 17 minutes, amazing.
this is super my friend best regards

Thanks for the vid. Are you able to import shape files of valves and other equipment into a model like this so you don't have manually draw everything like shown here?
I wonder if you can do electrical conduit and fittings. Like a PVC 90.
hope you can make more videos about pipes and fittings.

@@Thesketchupessentials DWV and water line piping/fittings and applying slope on the connection 😁 Hope you can consider making some tutorials. It would help me visualize the system that im trying to learn. Thank you Sir ❤
I must be missing the part where you explained how you do the offset at 2:58 - any info?
I’m building my house with this
when i used the follow me tool on the rounded corners it does not extrude properly like it leavers the corners bare. it only happens when i use a combination of the line tool and the arc tool

Try making the radius/size of your objects bigger - small objects can often have geometry creation issues
You know you can just press K to turn on hidden geometry, at least I can. Thanks for the video

That works great - thanks! :)
I notice you use * for multiply copies which for me is shift 8, a 2 key combo. Why don't you use the x key, a single key press which is the inbuilt shortcut, either before or after the number of copies you want so to get 10 copies it''s x10 or 10x?

It's not a 2 key combo if you use a numpad, which I use a lot

@@Thesketchupessentials Ok - No numberpad on my keyboard and I'm sure a lot of your viewers are in the same boat as me; perhaps you could mention this, as in all of your demos in this series you have used * and this could be seen as THE WAY to do it.
@ 1:08 the fillet action to have a smooth elbow. Can this be used? kzread.info/dash/bejne/dJxptryledXbm5s.html see tip 32. appears to be useful. the radius value key board entry has to be entered without moving away from the curve. wish this inferencing can be extended for drawing elbows too.
