It's insane how much detail the game renders when you look at it this way. You can even see the individual LEDs in the brake lights. I have the 1st person mod and it's even more immersive. They even render the subway tunnels. No wonder the game performs so poorly, it's too much.

why is a tunnel rendered when under normal circumstances nobody would see it? 😂 i even noticed the car had a trafficator light for when it wanted to switch lanes, wayy too much stuff for what a person would realistically notice.

I'm not sure if everything is rendered at all times. I think that the LOD (level of detail) changes depending on the level of zoom. also I think that part of the performance issues involve the LOD being too high at greater distances I think the devs should allow us to choose between high performance, lower res texture and high res game play. Some games even allow you to download high res textures if you want higher detail. @@oluwatayo.x

in case you encounter fps drops just adjust the in game detail to low or medium

​@@oluwatayo.xI think they had first person in the project by cut it off. First person was part of the official game console version and a very popular mod for PC. They didn't put the feature, but probably expected a mod. Also the game doesn't render all that all the time. When it came out it looks like it did, but rn it's better.

I have an i5 13400f, 3070ti and 32gb and it goes at 0.05 speed simulation! I hope the devs Fix that. And my city Is 525k

you should post the save game on PDX mods !!

When i start a game, i always end up eith serious traffic issues. Which then leads to poor garbage collection and then makes the npcs to leave my city 😢
