What did you use to torque #3 injector tube nut? I am having a problem finding anything to get on it due to that electrical plug. Got it off with a wrench, closed end. Can't get crows foot on it either.

I love my 3rd Gen. pulls like a monster with the nv5600 behind it.

NV5600…Considerably less likely to blow up at any given moment.

@@freedomworx It does help that it has a south bend single disk clutch too. I had to install it when I bought the truck. The 85 year old original owner put 164k miles on the truck without changing the clutch.

@@Sackmatters I had to put a South Bend in a VW TDI after I put some bigger sticks in it. Factory clutch just wasn’t up to the task! It’s not as fast, but definitely cheaper than a built automatic.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo Oh yes you can lol. I know autos are WAY faster but the manual is just to much fun. My next truck will be a automatic cummins I can cruise in.

Any advice on the last injector? I’m done with all 5 but that last one! I can’t even remove the last tube because of the bracket on the rear.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo Do you know the size of the rear bracket near the 6th injector tube? Does it completely come off or do you loosen it and it slides like someone suggested? I haven’t seen a single video of doing that one injector.

Final torque value for the injector feed tube nut is 44 foot pounds. Not 37. That was the old torque spec.

I saw another older video comment mention 57 FtLbs and he was referring the 06 service manual because the host of the video said 37 or 44 FtLbs I don't remember which one. Not my words, I'm just here for the knowledge.

@@DavidReese2ndA well I think either term gets the point across. But technically, a thrust washer prevents axial movement, and a thrust bearing supports an axial load. But, I’m a nerd, so I try to be technically correct. I don’t always succeed 🤷🏻‍♂️
