Have a 4th gen. Love the gen 3 also. Freaking Battle tanks. Nice set up. Don't worry about the mud. That's a testament to the 4runners toughness.

Great walkaround, thanks for the tour. During its evolution, which modifications would you say had the greatest impact on lowering your gas milage? Larger than stock tires? Just overall weight being added? All those aftermarket bumpers and armor aren't a light add-on. I ask because I like the look of yours, but don't want to kill my 19mpg too bad with mods/upgrades on my 99.

I think, in my opinion, all the mods have just “alittle” effect but all of them coupled together is what ultimately led to the current gas mileage. I wouldn’t necessarily say one was worse than the other.

Super nice 3rd Gen👍 I have a slightly mod'd 99 model that is still my daily. Thats a great price on yours. You couldn't buy one and mod it to that degree for less money. Wheelin' ain't cheap! 🤪 Just sub'd as well 👌

Im going to add an extended range tank to mine.

Want to get a gobe ladder mostly because I am short and nice to reach loading the top better when ratcheting gear up there.
