The options you thought out are so easy yet so precise. What you have done here puts so many other guides to shame. The way it glides, the accuracy, and the marking tool. You have a great multi tool here.

Great square! I like it and thanks for inspiration. I have simpler one but that guiding rail enclosed from both sides eliminating need to keep pressure against the square, plus interchangeable guides for other tools besides circular saw, and those plexi spacers, are just very tempting for me to make my own one. So many thanks. I also like your craftmanship details like not dragging files back in 09:37. No music, no distraction, nothing screaming "hyper-cool" shit, just simple powerful skill show. GREAT job!

Beautiful design and very well produced video. I used a similar concept when cutting melamine cabinet panels. I would set and clamp the square to the finish size with a router, then adjusted my circular saw to leave 1.5mm from that line. I’d cut with the circular saw then without moving the guide I could trim it with the router to remove the chips in the edge of the melamine. I also glued some strips of 120 grit sandpaper to the underside to help prevent any slippage while using it without clamps. Love your work. 👏👏👏👍

I think I will build this one. The precision and simplicity is astounding. I was going to make JSK-Koubou's earlier version, his Amazing!! Circular Saw Guide, but my Makita saw has its blade on the left side which means I would have to build a left-hand version of that guide, hold it with my right hand and move the saw with my left hand - not something I'm comfortable doing. This 3in1 Multi Tool Track Guide appears to solve that problem by providing a track for the saw to ride in. Thank you, Koubou-san for this design innovation!

This is fascinating video to watch. I’ve saved this video over a year ago. I’m outfitting a new shop now. Difficult to do w/ Covid & the fact I’m retired and on a very fixed budget. This project could improve my accuracy w/o a large cost. I’ve just recently been watching your videos, & I’ve noticed some cool tools and aids you use in completing your work. Do you have videos of any tools you’ve built you’d like to share. Or even photos. I now need to pay closer attention to seeing more of your videos. I realize time has passed since then. Thank you

. . . very ingenious concept and very thoughtful in details - so ideal for quick set-ups and precise results - only down-side compared to standard tracking guides is a missing tear-out protection but such can easily be integrated . . . - my questions: what kind of nonstick tape do you put under the circular saw and what type of nonskid tape under the track guide? (if known: material denominations and / or brand names) - thank you so much !

Quality as ever, thanks for sharing, maybe an extra help: make a new "zero" on the tool guide you made. This would be the measurement you need minus say four inches or 10 centimeters whatever the preference is. For example you need 80 cm and write down 70 on the material put the new "zero" on the mark and cut.

When shortening a screw don't cut it, hold it with the pliers, vertically, then bend it then keep waggling the pliers until it breaks, it make a neater break that doesn't damage the threads. If you want it not to come off, use a centre punch on the edge of the nut and bolt and it will lock them in place.

Nice idea, but I would recommend a circular saw with a blade on the other side. Being closer to the track is more stable and unless you're left handed, you don't have to stretch your neck over the saw so you can see what you are doing. 🤗
