For someone who has been listening to kpop for years, Jay's vocals is a breath of fresh air. His voice doesn't sound like those usual kpop male voices that you hear that is why Jay stands out for me. I remember when I first heard DO's voice, I was so blown away and that made me stan EXO back in the day. Jay gave justice to this cover, his voice is just a chef's kiss. If he doesn't debut in this show, I will still follow him because there is no way I will forget that voice. Fighting, Jay Chang!

Last trainee that had this stable vocals while dancing+ doing addlips was Yeonjung(WJSN) during Produce 101 "Into The New World". She had the most stable voice that whole season and I am still mad her team didn't win that round! She was INCREDIBLE! They were so robbed. I really hope thise team wins, or at least Jay gets a decent amount of votes because he truly deserves it! This whole team deserves to win! But I'm waiting to see Group K's preformance and decide.

After the announcement of the lineup, I keep going back to jay's videos on the show and I can only conclude that he was legit the best singer on the show; how can someone hit those hella difficult stable notes so effortlessly while dancing. He's a gem and idc if he didn't debut along with them, he'll never lose his shine I believe in his talent, sincerity and efforts. He'll rise to stardom one day. Fighting Jay!!!

Not only that, he looks so effortless and confident while doing so! I watched a YT short comparing the two’s bridge and i liked Hui/Yedam(I’m not sure what his name is) more at first, but after fully watching both performances, I definitely prefer Jay overall. With the other group’s guy, you can definitely see him thinking of the next high note in his movements (I do this too tho😂), but Jay’s are so fluid

Boys Planet wasn't dumb at all, because of Boys Planet so many contestants were able to debut even if it wasn't in ZB1 (including Jay). Also, the group that came out of Boys Planet is made up of talented people so it's not like it's just a bunch of pretty faces and that's it.

Jay’s vocals are definitely the best out of all the trainees in my opinion. It gives me chills every time. His vibrato and stable vocals are so smooth and unique at the same time. Flawless. Also, Haruto is such a good rapper and his energy is so unique, he definitely knows how to stand out.

I'll never get tired of Jay and Wumuti's soothing voices 🫶🏽✨

I think we all should clap for that centre guy who left his main vocal position and suggested Jay to have it rather. Bcz for him we could see Jay slaying the notes! And Jay was also an angel, he left centre position and became main vocal for his team. This team was fully united from the beginning.

I think it’s actually partly a thing of stylistic singing, Jays singing is ultra stylish and stable while Hui’s is very manufactured and mainstream sounding (probably due to his trainee days and obviously being in Pentagon) Jay’s voice has extreme amounts of style and “swag” (hate that word) while Hui’s lacks identity but is extremely impressive on every technical standpoint over jays in most situations

I was surprised to hear Jay's voice. The beat is accurate and above all, the voice is so good. Jay already has the form of an idol and will continue to develop further and I want to support him until the end. Vote for Jay right now!

as a looooong time exo-l i can confidently say this is the best live cover of DO's killer part

This performance deserves a shout out. Jay's vocals sound so natural and effortless hitting notes and still maintain the flavor of his voice.

It's kind of expected that K team would win because they have the most popular ones in the group. They were stable, however, G Team was more fun to watch and left an impression on a lot of people. But it's just shocking how Jay and Hui's scores are so far apart (even with Haruto's) when we all know they're both neck and neck with their vocals. Even Hui himself admitted that Jay's voice fits Love Me Right better. They deserve much more. I'm kind of pissed about the live audience. For International Fans, focus on voting for contestants from G Team. They only have us. We don't have to worry about others.

All the more reason to vote for G group, all of the K members got 110,000 besides the kill this love team, which will give them all the advantage. Ikrrr!! Team K is good and seeing their performance is actually like watching robots perform, its perfect, its as expected. However, TEAM G gave the song a new flavor. All the members added character to the song and I think they fit the song so well. Its fun and oozing with freshness. This may be bad but I kinda hope that those live audience did not experience this marvelous performance. TEAM G deserves a better set of audience!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jay‘s voice fits well with the highnote as his voice is smooth and r&b ish just like Kyungsoo. Amazing performance.

coming back here after a year. i’m so happy he won build up and as P01 no less. this show has been traumatic for me, i knew jay deserved so much better. when he didn’t get in zb1’s lineup, i felt like he was meant for something else! mnet probably didn’t want to let him go just yet so they made another show that’s more suitable for him - to build a vocal boy group! he debuted solo, as a member of one pact, and now with BDU. my boy is going places and he’s just getting started. i’m so happy for him 🎉

Dang Hong Hai did very well in choosing the boys to form this group, each one stood out in their own way. For me the best group by far, I hope they voted well and win, they deserve it🕯🤞🏻

Every group needs a Jay in it. His vocals would instantly upgrade a song by 100%. Even him just doubling or doing harmonies is enough to improve the quality drastically

Couldn't agree more, his voice really does magic!

Listen closely how Jay sings, actually he is even more than his charismatic texture of voice, but he subtly add a lot of tiny grace note (but that is way more obvious in practice than in this actual performance). I think he actually add quite a lot of soul inside the song, that make it so captivating!!

I've been in kpop since gen 2, and i could say that jay voice is really unique and so good, the voice like never before in kpop, not just about hitting the high note, beyond that, jay will be debut in this program. Let's get back to my comment again later in final episode!! :)
