We finally got a 3DS capture card (thanks, Loopy) and of course this was the first thing we did. Already worth the investment. Tell us what DS/DSi/3DS games to play!

Man, this really brings me back to when I got mine as a kid. Getting a new charger, ready to dive back into what I loved.
I’m getting a 2DS for my birthday (my 2DS XL broke) and oh boy this gives me memories back in 2017 then it was hidden somewhere (I was getting frustrated with a Mario game) until I found it in a tin. I remember making goofy ahh sounds in it. Also the notes. Ohhh the nostalgia of drawing random stuff. I actually borrowed some games from one of my mams friends. Classic days.

the capture card we're using only captures in 2D
They new what nintendo was doing when they was making the soundtrack they knew it was going to be special long live the 2000s and 2010s
Is this with loopy's capture software? What video encoding settings to get it to upscale to 2k?

This is captured via OBS and resized later in Hitfilm (but any video editor should do). For pixel perfect resizing you could use VirtualDub, levels filter, set it to near neighbor, but 3DS is so blurry that I'm not sure it's worth it.
I recommend Moon Chronicles, and Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move. Better get 'em quick tho, because the Nintendo eShop closes next month.

Yes. The Internet connection doesn't require Nintendo's services, plus you can skip the Internet connection part during the set up anyways.

not possible sadly, this capture card only records in 2D.
What do you do if you have a 2DS? I have a 2DS, but IDK if this screen shows up on a 2DS, because I got mine 7 years ago when I was 5. I didn't know how to set it up, so my parents did.

It sucks there is no way of skipping it. It terrified me 11 Years ago but it was really cool to have 3D Effects without glasses

Hey this may seem like a strange request but I was wondering if it would be possible for you to take a capture of the 3ds booting up using the blue theme and then opening nintendo 3ds sound? I'm working on a project right now but I don't have my 3ds anymore lol

You mean just the basic blue theme, and loading the home menu like usual? That would be easy enough to do. Is there anything else you would need beyond just opening the sound app?
