    Again a nice tutorial, but what I would like to see. Make a tutorial from start to finish, so modeling, UV mapping or texturing and lightning.... That would be cool.

    Same result - use curved spline, clonner and renderTime geometry in redshift.

    you should lower your mesh density, otherwise it is gonna be too hard to handle.

    @@polygonpen yes, but your path is straight. What I want to do is create a rounded corners square spline as a path for my clone, but when the stichs are on the curve they don't bend like the curve shape. They follow the spline, but stichs keep straight. Don't know if you got it.

    What if the spline was not straight and u wont end having 2 nodes only?

    It will work fine with non straight splines, sometimes you may need to fake it though, because of the ending points of the spline, you can watch my leather tutorial, it is more advanced.
