In the second part I'm going to finish making my wafer paper cactus flower, and show you the process of making 3D realistic looking plant pot, 3D cacti and stones. If you want your stones to look very realistic, let them dry for a few days which allow the black color to become grey and your stones will look just like the real ones.
I didn't include the process of making cactus spines, because I made them a week before I was recording the tutorial. It's easy to make, just make thin pieces out of fondant and let it dry well.
For the clay pot I used a combination of following colors:
* Wilton Red Red
* Wilton Burgundy
* Wilton Brown
* Super White Alan Tetreault to paint over
You can use any green color for the cacti, just add some brown to it when painting the bottom.
You don't have to be super neat as the pot should look like an old rustic one. So even if you have a problem cutting details straight and neat as I always do - this is the best design when you can forget about perfect shapes =D
