In this video I have explained what is 3D printing process and later I have showed you the steps for 3D printing process basically how to do 3D printing at home. In this video you will also get to know what is cost of 3D printing in India.
3D printing steps:
Step 1: Make the CAD model and save it in stl file
Step 2: Check correctness of model in blender, netfab etc (you can skip this step for simple models)
Step 3: Now use software like KISSLICER or Ultimaker to generate G and M code.
Step 4: Insert the G and M code file to the printer.

For air pistols you need to have a licence. It depends on the power of the rifle/pistol. Even for a small air pistol you need to give them your ID and address proof. I'm assuming that you're going to make a 3d printed air pistol...so yeah it is technically not legal. You can talk to air pistol sellers they can explain it very well. Search on KZread. Good day
