3D Printed RC Jet Boat Build + Demo! The MJET Sprint

Full Build and demo of the MJET Sprint RC jetboat. We've also printed the Super Sprint so stay tuned for that build video in the coming weeks. This is a full video including hull gluing, jet pump and impellers, ball join steering mechanism, watercooling, and all electronics installation. This also includes a demo of the boat with the installation of a trim tab to help with the porpoising at high speeds.
The boat uses a 3660 motor with 2600 KV and a 3S LIPO 3000 Mah 50C battery and a 90A Flycolor ESC. To get the files for the build check out the designers posting here: www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-mod...

Its really pretty simple. Just took a few hours one afternoon once all the parts were printed and I had all the supplies I needed.
Great boat! You should print the single blade impeller for same performance but longer run time, should be able to print without supports for smoother printing as well

I wonder if that would affect the water pickup? The water pickup on this thing is just so awesome, so much better than other boats I've printed. Can't wait to finish the SuperSprint and see how the updated version does.

@@rcprinter I have used single blade and no noticeable difference in water pickup, just longer run times, still waiting to test my supersprint out as well! I also tested printing the supersprint impellor without supports and had success, just slowed the print right down

@@petersheffield8264 Thanks for the info, a lower layer height should also help with not needing supports for the impellor

There are a bunch of options to choose from in the files when you download them in a folder called "Mods_for_M-Jet_Sprint" in a sub-folder called "Ride Plate Mods".
