Wow!! That actually sounds incredible! I expected it to sort of high pitched and annoying like a lot of other mini sirens.

Dang, I felt a visceral sense of dread as it spun up. The terror of air raid sirens is such a deeply engrained thing even generations after the bombs fell.

more like, these "apocalypse sirens" are specifically engineered to reach certain frequencies that trigger 'fight/flight' response in human. they hit the natural weakness of our primitive brain.

I think the difference in the acceleration of the rotors is absolutely insignificant. In addition, the rotational speed of the motors is quite accurately controlled by two equally calibrated ESCs.

@@lautalanmoto It doesn't maintain a harmonic sound if they're out of sync. For the Federal Signal 2T22, it maintains the minor 3rd interval since both choppers are in sync (driven from the same motor) So are the famous British WW2 air raid sirens, those maintain their bone chilling minor 3rd harmonic.

I know I'm 10 months late, but take a look at the WWII air raid sirens from the UK. They looked more or less just like this one (fully open) and just mounted on street lighting etc.

It's not a bomb. Yeah, it's legal to build one, but depending on where you are using it, it can't possibly be legal to use without breaking laws relating to disturbing the peace and some more specific laws regarding the use of loud devices in public areas and subdivisions.
