3D print - Optimus Prime Orenstein memory
I was very sorry for Hanry Orenstein's disappearance.
His was a special work that marked my childhood considerably, as I imagine for all of you.
For this reason I wanted to make a commemorative model of Optimus Prime.
The model is inspired by the G1 series, to then customize the transformation system in such a way as to make the humanoid (robot) mode more aesthetically appealing.
My intention was to keep the atmosphere from the 80s series in honor of Orenstein, but as if he was created in the 21st century.
The model is about 25cm high, while in vehicle mode it is 16cm long, it is composed of 80 parts that can be assembled without screws and without glue.
The glue will only serve to fix some aesthetic details.
All joints are made of PETG, while the rest of PLA.
Highly posable, and totally transformable.
On this occasion I will also make the trailer always in G1 style.
Hope you like it!

Beautiful! It always amazes me how people still find new ways to transform the classic Optimus Prime G1 truck. I like the way the fists are hidden, that's completely new yet so simple and effective!
You could make a 2.0 version with the leadership matrix chamber inside the chest.
This is the most interesting optimus prime design I've ever seen it's perfect in every way looks sturdy too!
can not beleave what im seeing ive got a optimus prime 25th aniversary master peice and this looks just as good if not better very good work i will be purchasing the stl files as soon as i have some money such a good job, keep up the good work

This is crazy! I really like some of the clever tricks the transformation pulls off. It's pretty unique too.

thank you so much!
This is truly amazing work! Great job with the design. I love the way the figure transforms as it you can't tell that it was 3d printed! Especially using pins to connect the figures. I'm wondering if you ever considered doing Omega Prime from "Robots in Disguise" with both an Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus combination? Unfortunately, I don't see a lot of combining mechs made from a 3D printer out there and you are one of the few that do as shown from your Godmars video. Personally, I'm a huge combining robot fan....and based on the catalogue of figures and how you design them, it seem like you are one of the few Makers that could actually pull it off seamlessly!
awesome design. brilliant having the hands behind the bumper. if you don't mind checking out some designs I am working on [doing it on the side while working, house repairs, father, etc]. I have a jet transformer that I am going to do a test print. then after that I will redesign a spacex starship inspired omega supreme that I have modeled. I would appreciate your input and advice

Dude, this is awesome! Wish someone at Hasbro would watch this, and use it, of course giving you the credit!
That's amazing
Very well done! Id recommend putting the gas tanks on the thighs to fill the gap in truck mode and making the part where the stripe is shrink down a bit on robot mode, but other than that is pretty much perfect!
