3D One vs Koch Chemi M3 02

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today I compare two compounds. One is a traditional medium cut and one is a more versitile all around compound. Which one do you think will perform better? Or will they both perform the same?

Koch Chemie’s products are top shelf. I’ve used them a lot this past year and best idea is to buy a gallon of the koch stuff if you correct a lot. Especially the M302.

Both of those products are meant to use less correction fluid you could have gotten away with 2 smaller dots of fluid. The gentleman who is 3D chemist said you need less of their correction fluids than others. And at Kock chem training people were also told to use less.

@@MUJHOOL After clay bar you need to get rid of any oils left behind to prep the panel for compound and polish. I use CarPro Eraser, wipe it on and wipe it off and your panel will be prep and ready to go to start correction. Also before clay bar its a good idea to use an Iron remover to prep for clay

I have a newer Chevy truck and the clear coat seems extremely soft on it, Koch chemie m302 is the only compound I’ve found that actually works on it, as far as finishing out nicely without making it worse than it was originally

pappy232 thank you so much for that. I ask because I have a Lexus ISF in obsidian black. Paint is very soft and has light to Medium swirl marks so was going to use 2 step correction: sonax perfect finish on yellow Rupes foam pad plus Koch chemie 3.02 on white Rupes. I also have lake country hydro tech crimson pad on hand in case for finishing if need be

Be careful with 3D 1, ACA520, AAT502, Meguiar's M205. They can potentially leave da haze, and/or tick marks on soft paint. I want to have only one line of polishes that work on a vide variety of finishes, and so far for me It's Menzerna. I just ordered the set of Kock abrasives. If they work better than the Menzerna, I'll gladly switch.

Thank you so much. It ultimately comes down to the type of paint as each vehicle can be different. I would honestly use their F6.01 for 1 steps and Micro Cut more for polishing.

Great video. I’ll probably take some flak for this but I’m still trying to like 3d one. I’ve done 2 cars with it now with same LC pad and with the Uro fiber like every one suggests and I’m just not that impressed. Maybe after watching a few videos I was expecting too much. Does have great working time though. Keeping it up!

This was only the 2nd time I've used 3D. I did a paint enhancement on a Mercedes that had severe buffer trailes on it. I used a blue lake country pad and it came out mint. But alas vehicle is different thats why I keep a few different types at my disposal. Thank you for the support.

I'm finding the clear coat on this to be fairly easy to work with. Not like most cars from Europe that have very hard clear coat or not as soft and finicky as Tesla. More middle ground. Hopefully that answers your question.
