One quick tip, that maybe you already know: You can quickly apply subdivision surface weight on edges by holding the "." key and then clicking and dragging.

Thanks Mert, you are the best! 🏆 I tried it by myself first, and failed sooo badly at the usb holes and pins, so had to watch it. It looks soo simple after that 😄... but this is what they call experience I think 🙂I already learned so much thanks to you 🤩💪

Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Coming from an industrial design workflow i have a question about polymodelling.. what is the easiest way to create close to perfect fillets? (Ignoring micro fillets) - You touched on it at 8.33 with the rectangle cut, but what is the best methods to ensure straight edges and tight fillet corners? Thanks :)
@polygonpen
Жыл бұрын
In SubD poly modeling, it is all about dividing polygons and angles, as you move the points/edges closer to each other, this is gonna tighten up the fillets/hard edges but the result is not as precise as CAD/Nurbs modeling, if tihis is what you are asking.
I've been following you for almost 3 years now and i've learned a lot from your tutorials. But I want to ask if you can make an absolute beginner small course all the way from explaining the interface, each tool what it does, sculpting, anination, rigging, blocking, modelling, simulation and texturing. Really from the basics to a professional level. Thanks

you can also use period [ . ] with click and drag to set sds weights if you didn't know! Edit: someone else already said it lol
