Hi Trevor, This is one of my all time favourite pens I have ever made and is in my display box of my favourite pens. I use Safety Cloth from Chestnut products to apply the CA and just put a few drops onto the cloth. This minimises the chances of the bushes getting glued to the blank. I have had them stick together and it either means you ruin a set of bushes or worse the blank you have just spent time making. Thanks for your support mate. Take care Trevor. Cheers, Huw

Pretty Good🏆 As you were fiddling about with cutting and fitting the rhomboids all I could think was So much handwork. Ugh. But no, just the one for a pen. Great idea for a general use end grain glue up solution - it should cut the weakness by half, I'd say. I have been doing some segment work on my lamps and I find myself spending a lot of time on just preparing and gluing and clamping lol! I see you used your regular clamps on that piece but get a few hose clamps you know the metal ring clamps with a screw on the side to tighten them and you will find it easier and faster and you will be able to make a few extra in advance for more projects! That pen came out looking awesome 😎!

I have probably 20 hand saws i cannot get a straight cut, even with the little aluminum box. I've only been woodworking for about 3 yrs. I just don't want the ordinary pens, or knife scales.

I think there is one for sale on eBay at the moment, GS TUV Rheinland Mitre Saw Model No; 89252217. It obviously depends on where you live.
