39. Reviewed: Bachmann Class 90 EWS w/DCC Sound 32-619SF New Tooling 2022
Ғылым және технология
In this edition of the engine shed, I've managed to get my hands on Bachmann's new Class 90 in EWS Livery with DCC Sound. Unsurprisingly this model lives up to the reputation it has garnered and Bachmann has reemerged at the top of the ranks again with this beautiful model. Through the course of this episode, I shall examine the detail, performance, and DCC features of this model, and showcase this latest edition in motion on Castle Hill. Hopefully, you enjoy this latest review, as always please leave a like, share and subscribe for more content... Happy Model Railroading!

Excellent video, thank you. You've affirmed adding the EWS (-619SF) to the green Freightliner (-612ASF) and grey Freightliner (-620SF) already on shelf (but no means to play). Really good review, helpful to see and hear the DCC and the finish on the EWS. AC electrics addicts are truly in seventh heaven at the moment! Thank you.
Hi, great review of a cool looking loco, why hasn’t anyone picked up on the fact that this model has no windscreen wipers, thanks for sharing.

After viewing a few reviews it has been mentioned that the wipers are in a position that can’t be readily viewed, I guess Bachmann took advantage of the fact but could have shown them anyway in my opinion, if I buy one of these models I will fit a set for good measure.
Thank you for doing a Video on the Class 90, as I'm about to buy one to go with my EWS Rolling stock along side my Class 66 to shear the loads
Just saw this and bought one!
Nice locomotive, but how can you run the working pantograph, which you raved about, in the Down position? Sacriledge! I would have fixed the tunnel clearance first. 🙂
Nice video pet :-) you could probably do with some "knitting" on your layout .. as for the 90, 91 and 92 compared, the 91 is pretty much only ECML passenger express functionality only, the 90s are a mixed traffic loco predominantly WCML but seen for a good period on the GEML and sporadic ECML use, then, there's the 92s mostly Freight use made for channel tunnel operations initially, more recently found work on the Caledonian sleeper, basically they're all a little different 😉
You did not need the background track going man... bad idea for a sound opriented demo! Otherwise great video Thanks.
are you permanently off the air now?

Not at all! Just a very busy time for me with work commitments and travel! I hope to have a video uploaded soon with a layout update of some description.
