That depends on the species, there are species of plants that are terrestrial such as pumpkin plants and there are species that can support their own weight without collapsing, such as Colombian mango sticks, but there are other species that need a support to grow or they will collapse under their own weight. and they will grow at ground level like creeper plants clinging to whatever surface they wish to lean on

They came from the same seed packet They received the exact same treatment. To this day, I still don't know why the one I named the "Jolly Green Giant" was so big. The single bell pepper seed when it grew produced more than one bell pepper. This thing astonished me greatly. “And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy until, when they have carried heavy rainclouds, We drive them to a dead land and We send down rain therein and bring forth thereby [some] of all the fruits. Thus will We bring forth the dead; perhaps you may be reminded.”

You can definitely do it like this, get a pot with hole in the bottom and a dish underneath so the roots won’t rot Plants that grow outside have a different (better) taste though

@@user-10021 I'm growing mint and cilantro And I just started rosemary. The mint keeps outgrowing the pot, which is no surprise; the cilantro looks like it's going through its seeding cycle, and the rosemary clipping I took from my mom's hasn't rooted yet. These make a lot of progress every day. I might try something under a grow light inside just to do a comparison.

I saw the radish one and I get memories when I “planted” an entire radish in a little glass flask with water. It was there for like four or more months, it even grown leaves. But when I wanted to plant it for real I notice the radish grow bigger and it couldn’t get out the flask. I keeping giving it water but then it turn old and fungi. I was kind of sad because it always looked so radiant; so I’ll promised him (before I throw him away in my other plants) that I will always remember him. Rest In Peace little (but then big) radish 🌱🌱
