In one of Rev. Awdry's wonderful stories, Henry, the green engine, "sneezes" at a group of "naughty boys" as he passes under a bridge. 3830 does similarly as it suddenly opens up approaching the footbridge at Newcastle causing a group of young blokes to make a hasty retreat to one side.

Didn't hear 3830 say "Achoo" as it went under the bridge. LMAO. ;) Spectacular footage here Graeme. Hope one day THNSW will have 3830 restored one day to join 3801 again.

agreed it had its over haul in 1997 it should have another chance
30 and 13 were good engines to work on it would be great to see 30 back

@Ethan Yiu they had a meeting about her at thirlmere in April and they that it is going ahead
I’d like to see 3820 back on the tracks she is a wonderful engine.

They wont 3820 has to be preseved as is, she would have to have modifications done to comply with current standards and that would destroy the locos out of sevice condition so ive heard, even thou shes not operable its the only 38 currently assembled thats in near original ex sevice condition.
