This is a lesson missing in many tutorials on perspective! Thank you for taking the time to explain this 😄

It all makes sense when you understand the geometry behind all these dots 📐

Yeah... the majority just care about "what to do". I think that if you follow blindfolded, one day you'll find a hole and this will be the end for you. This is why we need to search the enlighment gave by the clear understanding of the whys behind the whats.

Many tutorials will tell you if you slide the vanishing points down the horizon line, that will "rotate" the box. But they don't explain why or how that rotation happens.Thank you for explaining the why behind it! Now in my head I see it being less about the VP locations and more about the angles being projected up into the picture plane. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for this video, I was pulling my hair out trying to understand how the MP's worked in 2pp, but this finally made it click

At 3:11 you say "This is a 45 degree angle". I don't understand. You're referring (and pointing) to a line, not an angle! Where is the 45 degree angle? Afterwards you talk about the station point, which i understand, but how does that relate to the red line?

There is a line at a true 45 degree angle from the SP. that creates a VP that draws the same angle in perspective.

@@trustyourperspective Ah, i see, 45 degrees (in this case) from the line that goes from the SP to the CV!
