Yeah, was going to mention 1/8th versus 1/4....... STILL tho; that's pretty damn impressive. This engine isn't that far off from an NHRA pro mod (obviously minus the turbocharger, whatever size that happens to be).

Lots of air and lots of fuel jammed into big cubes is always a good recipe.

The camera doesn't do it justice and it's still beautiful! That's 564ci...I'm starting to tear up a little...

It would demolish the miata ..its not even possible... after the 100 hours of fabrication it would take and the amouubt of "miata" you need to cut out. It is no longer a miata...

My friend Mike Moran made 4000hp 25 years ago when nobody was really paying attention. Check out Moran Motorsports ans see what I'm talking about .. First door car with a license plate in the 6s, then just over 10 years later first in the 5s with a door car and a license plate. That feat was done in business partners Bart and his jerry hass lumina. It went 5.89 at something crazy 244mph. This was 2006/2007 if i remember correctly. Mike started making 500+ gph efi fuel injectors. He had a deal to pull a Buddy Ingersoll pro stock with turbos and less cubic inches but being NHRA and all the drama that entails, the program fell apart after the first 2 races. They couldnt write a rule book quick enough to penalize a less than 500inch engine that could make a solid 1000lb/ft over what the other teams were doing for .001 of a sec Mike had the field covered with a should have been legal combo that had 4 freaking tenths on that.

Seeing a Miata with that I’m gonna run for my life because it’s either gonna fly at me or it’s gonna explode

I had a V8 swapped miata. No chance that fits in that engine bay. Not crank driven anyway...

You put that in a Miata and make it work I guarantee your the first man to invent time travel.

Funny how the tight pants Tesla guys haven't made a comment. This engine has about three times the HP of the average Killer engine build. Seriously.... I'm very happy to see 1100 to 1200 finely tuned HP under the hood of anything. 900 HP that's street able and can go 200,000+ miles is remarkable too. 3700 HP serves a purpose too. It makes me wonder if this engine hurts itself to put out this kind of power or if it has some kind of lifespan.

You could power a greyhound bus to a 10 second quarter mile with all that power 😂
