Brings back some good memories, turning 62 in April and watching your videos brings me to get my traps out and start smiling again.

37 beaver in one check is a ton of work that's for sure. I caught 32 in one day with a partner to boot an that was a workout. Congrats on a hell of a season!

Great haul & great videos ! Question: Do you worry about pan flatness? Just wondering since you catch so many.

Hey Luke great job. I was wondering if you could make a smaller rod than the rebar and put a half loop on it . I don't know if you could hook the rebar below the trap and pull the beaver back to you so you didn't have to pull your whole setup out of the ground each time and remake the set.

I see what your saying, I just think honestly the way I am doing it now is going to be faster and more efficient for me. Doesn't mean it wouldn't be worth a try though!

He sells the fur and if I was a betting man prolly sells the carcasses to people who make bait

There is a market to sell just about everything off of these animals anymore, just have to search them out and get in touch with the right people. Almost everything off of the beaver I catch is getting sold.
