Which champion are you using?

Good method but 2 things to note - Using the bar of soap that much might lead to some particles not being able to pass through the Durag, thus remaining in your hair if you don’t wash properly, leading to itchy scalp. - Tying the Durga that tight might cause headaches and also retarded hair growth at the back and sides of your hair.

Also too bro, you’re gonna need to do a lot of consistent brushing throughout the day to promote FASTER waving. As you brush, you are forcing your hair to create the coils that are required to achieve the wave look. Took me 1 week of brushing before I ever saw a wave, & then I didn’t even have to brush anymore. You also want to remember to have the correct brush for the grain of your hair. Hard brushes are not for lower fades. Harder brushes are for thicker hair. So if your grade is softer, like mine, then you need a softer bristle, & you’ll need to gradually increase the firmness as your hair gets thicker & more waves start forming thicker.

Consistent brushing and hitting the same angles cause ripples and then those ripples turn to waves. If you switch your angles everytime you brush then the ripples you formed will disappear because you confusing your hair.

Yo you don't have a durag?! Well I gotcha you can substitute it out for a silicon shirt and use the shirt as basically like a head wrap. Try it and and let me know what you think it worked for me.

You have to be consistent, do a wash and style everyday but make sure you add oils after. Doing a wash and style everyday will strip your hair from its natural oils so you have to replace them until you get waves.

What about the sunlight detergent

It gives you the same effect as moulding gel on waves, difference is it’s a soap and washes off easily.
