360° Virtual Tour - Whitetail-Pipestone SxS Fun - Trail 7071 near Butte, Montana MT.

Join me as I explore the Whitetail-Pipestone ATV trail number 7071 between Butte and Whitehall, Montana. The weather was great, and the crowds were non-existent! I also included the climb-out from Hartman Creek.
Thanks to Friends of Pipestone, BLM, and Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest for the excellent interactive Motorized Recreation Visitor Map. Without it, I would have been lost for days (now THAT would have been fun!)
This sequence was captured with an Insta360 One X camera mounted on an invisible selfie stick above the General David Lee.
Editing was completed with Insta360 Studio and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio.

Quite a lot of fun for $400. The simplicity is in the capture since you just set the camera and press record. The fun is being able to see all around afterwards. Some scenes lend themselves quite well to 360° video. Good week to you Jerry. Dave.

wow, Wow, WOW. I can actually say I had FUN watching a video 😁 The scenery is beautiful. It would be a blast to watch this type of content with a VR headset. thank you Thank You THANK YOU David! A 360 camera is in my gear to get list

I haven't checked to see if vr headsets work with youtube since I don't have one, was just typing my thoughts 🙂 Looking forward to more 360 content should you decide to film more 360 when playing on the trails! If I eventually create content, I've considered three playlists for three views - In cab, 360, Drone. That way I have minimally edited productions, since I don't have the patience. Record, upload 😂

@@J_Calvin_Hobbes The Oculus VR works just fine! It felt like I was sitting in a chair on top of the General! In reality, I was in a swivel chair and could swing all around and even look up and down (but couldn't see my feet, don't you know!) What a thrill! You have your priorities straight, capture with several cameras, and share. Oh, another priority, have a blast doing all of it! Life is too short. Dave.
