dude I haven't listened since this album dropped. And he just popped up randomly in my feed. like didn't even recognise the name, I heard the first two notes and it all came rushing back. the fucking nostalgia overload. Wish I'd kept current. This album is a fucking banger and like a certified part of my growing up. This hit right as we all started partying and going out. good times.

So true
This actually makes me cry, he describes his grandpa... his grandpa’s battle and pain till the end... His grandpa wore a smile to the end, just like mine did. I feel a failure to his legacy, sometimes cry, my grandpa never let anyone see him cry... I hope when he left the earth; he let it all out and bawled! I’ve not known another man as strong! Miss you very so much, ever so much, and I’m “hoping there’s a heaven, coz I want to meet again” Thanks 60! Thanks for this song ❤️

This song came out the same year that mine passed away, he was really sick too, for a long time, but he never let his illness define him, his wife, my grandmother died at the end of 2022, I think of them daily and whenever I hear that verse I get bleary eyed...
i didn't even realise this was a sad song until i actually listened to what he was saying.

Americans might not like the Aussie accent, sort of like how rapping in a British accent might sound weird to us, but normal to Britains. +Teegz L I agree with you, the American accent can be kind of annoying to listen to. I find it hard to get into rappers like KRS-One because I'm used to the Aussie accent.

I discovered this song while living in Australia in 2014. Was some tough times being away from my family during some tough times. This song really helped me get through and ultimately helped me connect more with the Australian culture.
disgusting that none of you people can appreciate good music. 360 your amazing
i can relate to this bloke so much. if this is about your childhood, I know exactly how it feels.

I think I like this song, not many songs seem real but this is pretty down to earth
Man, when this came out, you seemed so grown up. ( You're older than me ) Looking back now you look so young
I am Australian but any of u that say that American rap is just about banging babes etc. u r wrong, biggies smalls (the notorious B.I.G) rapped about Boston and his respect for his hometown, eminem mainly raps about getting up from the bottom and his youth

Aussie Hip Hop
Australian rap is so beautiful. I'm not saying there aren't ANY beautiful rap/hip hop songs here in the US, I'm just saying they're hard to find cuz the shit you hear on the radio out here is all just about women dropping their asses to the floor and going to the club and getting wasted. Bullshit bullshit bullshit. Australian rappers like 360, Pez, Illy, Seth Sentry, Mind Over Matter and all those other rap songs are beautiful and poetic, what rap should be.
