Western Conference Pacific (6)--LAC, LAR, LV, POR, SEA, SF Midwest (6)--ARZ, AUS, DAL, DEN, HOU, KC North (6)--CHI, DET, GB, IND, MIN, STL Eastern Conference Atlantic (6)--NE, NYG, NYJ, PHI, RCH, WAS South (6)--ATL, JAX, MIA, NO, TB, TEN Central (6)--BAL, BUF, CAR, CIN, CLE, PIT They could play division opponents twice (10) and a division in the other conference (6). Go back to 16 games.

I like it 👍 It's tough to reshuffle certain divisions specifically because of traditional rivalries and historical precedent. I think it might be an unwritten rule that the Packers and Bears must always fight

Why not call the Canadian team the Mounties with a red ensign flag on the helmet?

I don't think Toronto will get one due to the CFL. I would guess Mexico City as the international franchise. St. Louis, San Diego and San Antonio would also get teams. The division breakdown could go like this: AFC EAST: BUF, IND, JAX, MIA, NE, NYJ AFC CENTRAL: BAL, CIN, CLE, HOU, PIT, TEN AFC WEST: DEN, KC, LVS, LAC, MEX, SD NFC EAST: CAR, DAL, NYG, PHI, TB, WSH NFC CENTRAL: ATL, CHI, DET, GB, MIN, NO NFC WEST: ARZ, LAR, STL, SA, SF, SEA The AFC and NFC, along with all of the historical rivalries would remain intact.

Just send the Chargers back to SD, and then have an Austin/San Antonio team be the Oilers. The only reason why Chargers failed in SD is because of poor ownership.
