And that's the problem with dandom. The die hard purists think they are experts in movie making. Had they kept things the same as comics, barely anyone would see them. That's why comic book.sales have been shit since the 90s and Marvel had to sell off movie rights to save the company. Nobody reads comics.

The movie Hulk is probably Marvel’s worst … Norton’s Hulk was the best of the three. Ruffalo’s Hulk is not just the worst, it’s bad. Even Bana’s Hulk was decent. At least they did the characters powers justice in that first movie!

I am surprised after knowing that Guillermo Del Toro and Neil Gaiman wanted to make Dr. Strange the master of mystic arts and those creators are also the same themselves. Really want to see their mystic take of Dr. Strange. Who else also want that?

I’d hate to see them under the thumb of the MCU machine.. as they’ve both had some really hard times with studios who treated them like every other person who works with the studio system… luckily, Neil is happy with how his Amazon show went. And after the hobbit fiasco it seemed like GDT was tired of that kind of film making

I was deeply disappointed by the FF/Silver Surfer only by the unbelievable finale which basically shrunk Galactus into being a cosmic cloud. That cast was totally proper in their appearance and chemistry and looked just right.

Sony canceled Spider-man 4. They kept on interfering with Sam Rami’s vision. Anne Hathaway was cast as Black Cat but Sony wanted to make her Vulture’s daughter.

Unfortunately Sumi, that's Hollywood looking for ways to generate profits. To make Movies and TV Shows ridiculous with stupid humor. Half of the Disney Marvel movies have stupid humor. Generation X and Y of course find racism funny still and continue to circle back to it looking for racist and stupid humor to be a part of their films and leaving out tweaks of 2020 in the future films.

@DarkTitan - Sorry. It's me when I saw it all over today's news. The smallest of changes and I've read comments after comments with a poor interpretation. Nobody liked the new Little Mermaid or Superheroes changing sexual orientations to align with today's generation. I recalled some went on Bailey's twitter page with huge discontent against her.

I think it would be nice to see a MultiVerse series of movies where some of these ideas are fleshed out. Let Edward Norton run with a Dark Hulk storyline leading to World Breaker Hulk in a parallel timeline. I would see every movie in the theater!

They're not that smart. 😂😂😂 but honestly that's what the multiverse saga should've been. Infinity war should've ended with the snap restarting the mcu. And endgame shouldve been the whole next phase but not the end. Handle the same way twisting familiar elements but adding more mystery and deepen the layers by incorporating the characters they previously didn't have access too. It all could still work how they want to. Kang could come in trying to warn the avengers and prove he's a better hero. Because he's aware of the change due to his own mechanisms of time manipulation becoming a direct threat to thanos (believing he was the only to remember) and in turn becoming a target by "higher powers" like memphisto. The endgame being all that they're what they're trying adapt with secret wars. But Franklin and the beyonder or someone greater going at it for control over the next phase.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think I'm too high.

None of this will happen under Disney. 🤷🏽‍♂️. You would think with excellent computer animation available used in popular games they could explore all the "dark adult themed storylines" without risking the bottom line so much in big budget live action movies. I don't play games but the last 2 installments of God of War I have watched are far more entertaining than anything after Spiderman No Way Home.

The fun fact keano reeves was sussposed to be morbius in 2008 movie and he was have cameo in blade iv and spiderman 4

I like ghost rider spirit of vengeance and I am sad that the third movie was cancelled.

I wasn’t much of a comic fan as a kid…the one exception being Ghost Rider. The dark art and storylines, the nuanced characters…blew my mind. Morbius, GR, Blade, Spider-Man, etc…all in a same story arc?! Was insanity at a young age. I think the 2nd movie nailed the look, just barely had a script or dialogue holding it together. If they can recreate the look with an interesting story in the MCU, would be amazing! Shang Chi was one of the better movies MCU has put out recently. It’s a waste they didn’t do a 2nd one, the 1st was amazing! Excited to see what they do with MoonKnight next. Like a Ghost Rider, a tricky character to not make goofy…but that team did a killer job!

It definitely could’ve had potential…had Kevin Feige not put his foot down and purposefully let it die with a limited budget and little to no effort involved under Jeph Loeb’s (Marvel Television) eye. In recent years, after the MCU completed shat the bed with the (No Way Home and Werewolf By Night being exceptions) entirety of Phase 4 + Phase 5 so far (GotG Vol. 3, not so much), with just how much praise Feige as the Producer in charge of “making the MCU great”…perhaps it’s time to re-assess that exact notion. After all, Feige wouldn’t have gotten that position if not for the guy they recently fired: Ike Perlmutter. Seeing how Ike pretty much was the architect of the initial first three phases and Feige being in charge of how they’ll all fit/synergize together in time, after seeing how Feige continuously tries to make new characters by tearing down all the older ones in Phase 4 (and currently in 5), you can now see how little Feige knows about what he’s doing in the aftermath of Perlmutter’s demotion down the ladder into being let go by Bob Iger to save on costs. I bring up Ike Perlmutter because the Inhumans film was HIS IDEA; since they couldn’t use the X-Men at the time due to 21st Century Fox being separate from them at the time, Ike felt that putting the Inhumans out there in the MCU while giving them the prestige treatment that the MCU would give to build up formerly niche franchises/characters into Worldwide Sensations, they could not only have something that could sell toys/merchandise (since Ike’s genius was in being a Toy Business Magnate)…but eventually be the MCU’s very own surrogate for the X-Man. That idea SOUNDS INSANE, but at the same time…think about it: you ease into the bigger franchise that they can’t use just yet by BUILDING UP A MISUSED & DORMANT ONE as a major part of the MCU going forward and presto…you’ve not only made the MCU feel bigger and more dynamic/layered, but then you’ve also carried on legacies of Stan & Jack by bringing them into the 21st Century while making their initial promise/concepts forward and tapped into their fullest potential! But nah…Kevin Feige had Bog Iger demote Perlmutter to give us something he thought was “better”: Captain Marvel 😂😂😂 Feige never deserved any praise of any sort. He’s too drunk on the hype that Perlmutter and Victoria Alonso (who also go fired for ruining the MCU) were responsible for generating.

Tom Jane's portrayal of the Punisher was my favorite even though that movie sucked. The Punisher is such an iconic character, but it seems like no one can write a decent story for him.

I really wish we would have gotten the Gambit Origins movie, it had a lot of potential to open up to other movies. We could have gotten a Rogue origins movie, we could have gotten a movie with Storm and Gambit since she is the one who vouched for him to join the X-Men. We could have had Mr. Sinister, Sabertooth and the massacre of the Morlocks along with Gambits Redemption in that arc.

Totally agree .. Gambit was my fav X-men, therefore casting the right actor is critical .. not a big fan of Tatum .. nothing against him but him playing Gambit would’ve been terrible to the character.. that’s my opinion. Honestly the voice of gambit in X-men cartoons is legendary so anyone who got casted would have to nail that New Orleans accent to even come close to the gambit I’ve been a fan of!

Bernthal was amazing as punisher especially in in daredevil. Netflix Daredevil is amazing to I think it's my favorite adaptation of any superhero ip. the tone and overall grittiness to it was captured so well. And the season with the punisher was so well written. I'm sad it didn't continue and I've just recently read they recast foggy and Karen for the future Disney+ show which was a terrible call those 3 had great chemistry but leave it Disney to ruin that. Can't say this for Netflix much recently but they hit it out of the park with Daredevil even though they did to it what they do to all good shows they create cancel it prematurely

@@lvsells The irony surely eludes you, but that comment was easily among the dumbest I've read all year. First off, both Tobey Macguire and Tom Holland have done absolutely stellar jobs in portraying Peter Parker and/or Spider-Man, so being "the worst" of that trio isn't necessarily any indication for a bad performance. Garfield was too confident, attractive and popular to properly portray the nerdy, weak outsider side of pre-bite Peter Parker, but his character arc with Chris Zylka's Flash Thompson, his chemistry with Sally Field's Aunt May, and particularly Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, as well as the levity he brought to his Spider-Man persona were all pretty good. The main issue his movies faced were the scripts, and he proved in No Way Home that he was a great fit for the role. My main issue with you, however, isn't that you call him a bad Spider-Man. You could have called him the best, and it still would've been dumb, once you followed it up with "I didn't even watch his movies". You're in no position to properly judge the performance, outside of parroting your favorite KZreadrs who may or may not have made any legit points.

these movie companies need to grow up and realize that different comic book characters have different storylines and themes and make these movie that are are darker than their main movies

I've been saying the build-up is going to be pulling the universe together as a whole after ripping it apart. They are going to ride that success wave of No Way Home. I, for one, could not be happier. I've been saying that since Ironman Studios should have been sharing the rights for fan service. We finally have it almost 20 years later!

half of these movies were/are under other studios, they had nothing to do with the MCU. Marvel getting back the rights to properties sold to other studios will affect the MCU. the Daredevil movie isnt even recognized in the MCU, the Netflix Charlie Cox is

For some reason people didn't like John Carter and that also took him down.

A hulk trilogy that included Grey Hulk and even Maestro would have been great, but I dont think Norton would have played nice with the rest of the Avengers actors. His name was larger than all of the rest combined at that point. A SOny universe Silver and Black movie could be good if you make it like Atomic Blonde. Mostly grounded, strong character , decent plot with solid action.

If Sony doesn't get rid of AVI ARAD Their cinematic universe isn't gonna last long

An unusual way to complete many of these could have just been an X-Men anthology movie in which of the main characters told their own origin story and maybe 20 minute portions kind of like a campfire story

The reason why the original SPIDER-MAN trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth She was the only one capable to tell AVI ARAD when to back off Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of TASM1 Without her, there was no one to stop Arad from destroying the franchise Spiderman was nothing without her

I hated the tasm 1 suit and peter was a bit of a smart azz and not as nerdy but I did like the story of tasm 1 now the second one love the look of the suit and most of the story and I get the whole peters dad made the spider formula with his own DNA and that's what made the green goblin go crazy but I just thought it was to much and they should have just had the Norman Osborn drank the formula and go crazy and just have peter get bite by a spider of that had unknown DNA or something like that

Gambit and apocalypse are my favorite characters in the old animated series from the 90's. They massacred my boy apocalypse in the live action movie tho

Instead of a ravagers show I really hope we get a starjammers movie! With the mutants coming to the MCU it would be the perfect time to introduce them and put a spin we’ve never seen before on the whole Xmen storyline

Silver Surfer would of been great as a surprise appearance in Avengers end game. ( He would come to Earth for Galectus but end up fighting with the Avengers) then ( the real Galactus ) not a ( cloud ) show up and decides not to take on the Infinity stones.

The representation at the Arnold is not missing my eyes. Congrats to all the ladies.

TBH: Ghost Rider 2 and Punisher 2 flunked because of one reason: Marvel Knights. When they moved production to Marvel Knights and altered the script, story line, and went cheap on the entertainment like the weaker flaming skull and ditching the transforming skull chopper, the profits to them sunk enough to hide Ghost Rider until the TV Series Agents of Shield.

I liked war zone better then the first punisher movie although it's been a long time I don't really remember it. The only thing I remember is that they killed his entire family at a reunion instead of just his wife and kids. John Bernthal plays the character so well best punisher ever he needs and deserves a big screen blockbuster

X-men movie with mojo and longshot. Wanted that one for decades.

I would have loved to see: 1. Gambit 2. Punisher 3. Red Wolf Also, in my dreams, Avengers 'End Game' would have had the following just show up out of nowhere to join the final battle scene: Ghost Rider, Blade, Deadpool, Punisher, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Daredevil, Bishop, Spider Woman, The Sub-Mariner and Luke Cage.

The popularity of the Silver Surfer among comic book fans is unrivaled. Marvel spreads way toooooooooo much time on the Avengers, Wolverine, the Avengers, and the X-Men. We want to Silver Surfer, the Inhumans, Dare Devil, the Illuminati, and more characters from the marvel universe.

Ghost Rider for me, but it won't happen, he's an MCU breaker, there's no character currently in the mcu that can step to Ghost Rider except maybe Galactus, if that's even who's coming up. But then again Ghost Rider took out the Annihilation Wave single handed so I mean... Dude took out Thanos on his own too I believe.

Mandela moment, I'm from a timeline where the Inhumans movie came out & crossed over with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., & Blade 4 was canceled because Wesley Snipes went to jail for tax evasion

With the new tech available for CGI. Disney would need to develop a secondary Adult franchise with no limits featuring, A new Blade, Ghost Rider & get darker with Damian Hellstrom. That 2nd Doctor Strange would be a test, compared to the possibilities.

When did they say Shang Chi 2 was cancelled? I can’t find anything about this anywhere.

Samuel M. Rami was already well known because of Hercules TV movies, Hercules the Legendary Journey TV series, Xena Warrior Princess TV series, Young Hercules TV series, Jack of All Trades TV series.

There is going to be Shang-Chi follow up movie.

Unfortunately whatever might have been on the table while DisneyMarvel and WB/DC had seemingly unlimited budgets has pretty much gone now. I'm hanging out for a decent reintegration of the X-Men back into the MCU, heck, some borrowing from the Agents of SHIELD universe would be cool too. But there's going to have to be some vision and profitability return before the studios can go out on a limb again.

I'm still waiting for the MCU to actually hire an actor the correct height of the comic book Wolverine. In the comics James "Logan" Howlett (aka Weapon X / Wolverine) is 5 foot 3.

We missed out on Edward Norton because he doesn't read the fuckin comics and couldn't see the immortal hulk on the horizon?!

Nah... the fighting skills were lacking and not the right style.

So we didn't get Amazing Spider-Man 3 because the Sony executive was peeved because the man was suffering from jet lag. That's What I Call unprofessional

Silver and Black was turned down even with DISNEY'S involvement!?! Now that's a scary thought.

Part of what shut down the first Spider man movies is Toby McGuire turned out to be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Telling a woman to bark like a dog for $10,000 and flipping out because she said no is more than just a little problematic. Also Power Pack could not be made in today's industry because of taking years to make a movie and when dealing with kids that doesn't give a whole lot of opportunity to make the most of the franchise.

The scripts woukd have to be ready in advance and the films shot back to back with adults cameoing there, not them someplace else. But nowadays, it would probably fail because people would want to see siblings and Marvel would deliver girl bosses in the making.

I would love a back story on azazel/ mystique/ nightcrawler. Now that would be a good watch!!

Deadpool was a pleasant surprise,I knew basically nothing about him growing up. That being said green lantern was always my guy. I liked the movie well enough but I do wish it would have been a buster

Agreed. Professor Hulk? Crikey! And he wears glasses too! Hell, the Jolly Green Giant is scarier now.

This was a very insightful, thorough video. Even as a ginormous 40 year long fan of Marvel/comics, these kind of videos always drop a thing or 2 on me that I didn't know.... HOWEVER This is now the THIRD TIME I've watched a Marvel CINEMATIC Universe on this channel, and for some absolutely mind bending reason, the guy doesn't know how to properly pronounce Kevin "F-EYE-G"... and i dont know what's more incredulous and HILARIOUS: -the fact that this is a video on the MOVIE SIDE of Marvel, where, ya know... Kevin Feige is KIND OF A BIG DEAL in this shit, and maybe the most important person for the MCU being as big and ad GOOD as it is! So you'd think you'd know who the damn GODFATHER of the MCU is, and how to say his dang name.... OR.. -the fact that he pronounces Kevin Feige like the color/word Beige ("BAY-j" (🤣 as I type this he's said it two more times in this video, so that's 4 times in this video alone so far, but again, I think the 3rd different video here overall ...! And don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining by saying "oh, he's just a hired narrator," because that makes a the weird mistake even worse. Why? Well, because he makes a LIVING speaking aloud, so mistakes should be minimal.... And while nobody is perfect, if you keep a roof over ur head by being a PRO reader/speaker, I know that at least for ME, any even SLIGHTLY tricky words-- ESPECIALLY names-- would have mw utilizing this dope, like, i dont know how to explain it... ita like an ONLINE encyclopedia thing! Its called GOOGLE, and get this!; it would even have you surfing the "World Wide Web" right to Dictionary.com, where you can get a full dissection of the word AND a button that properly pronounces said word ALOUD for ya, biggidyBAM! No silly "FAY-j instead of FEYE-g" mistakes, and even better--- no subsequent mile long, professional ASSHOLE comments that make a mountain out of a molehill, breaking down why seemingly the FAYJ/FEYE-G SCANDAL is damn near on par with accidently hitting the LAUNCH button on a nuclear strike when you just meant to just hit the "close console" button 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Hey, what can I say? Words/names getting pronounced in obviously wrong ways is a dead giveaway that it's some sort of speech synthesizer reading a script.
