I remember seeing him at Annapurana Devi’s House when he first started learning with her back in 86 he’s such a nice man, and a extraordinarily gifted musician. Great to see him after so many years, albeit on KZread! This man was never after fame or fortune.

Pranam Pandit Arvind Parikh Saheb, for the first time I am putting my comments on the comment section of this video but I have heard all the 35 all inclusive taleem sessions I have no words to give you thanks, and who am I to give you thanks? your name is enough to established the culture and ethnicity of Indian classical music front of the audience of foreign countries, I am not going to write so much words for you because I think that is not important for you at all you are itself the legend and your life will inspire thousands of young classical artists like me currently I believe you are at the age of 91 years old and you are doing the work of classical music with the speed which cannot be followed by one young artist or one young person also one of the turning point of my music career is your sessions which you have uploaded from this KZread channel I sincerely request you to upload this more and more frequently and please arrange all these sessions more and more and if it will be frequent then I will be grateful this KZread channel and your work of these 35 sessions has changed my thinking my sensibility and my approach towards music As a young boy of 22 years old, sincere regards Aditya Nirmal

I am very happy to see Pandit Nityanand ji I feel some special connection with this legend, when I was only three years old it was my pleasure that I have started learning music under the tutelage of Pandit samaresh Chowdhury one of the oldest student of great Sitar Maestro Pandit Ravishankar, whenever I hear the interview of any artist who is the disciple of Pandit Ravishankar ji otherwise Annapurna Devi I feel some special connection that I am listening some Legend who belongs from the Gharana where I also got the opportunity to be the child of that same style I can understand the music love and hard work of Pandit Arvind ji because whatever he is doing that is because of his compassion towards music

I am a self taught 68 yrs old flute player playing since last 50+ years and well versed with classical music. I was hoping to learn a lot from the Master but I have got confused. On one hand his Guruma told him to remember catch phrases and on other hand he laments tayyari being given priority over melody. Also bhairavi etc can be very well played by changing scale a step lower or higher on the flute ( moorchhana) so why call it a limitation of instrument? The master came across as a closed person somehow. Overall disappointed with this session in am otherwise wonderful series....
