Right from the childhood, my passion has been hovering around Sarengi, the best musician in itself. Ustad Liaqat Ali Khan sahab Sarengi sunne ka murad pura kar diye. Ab dum bhee tod dun to koi gham nahi hoga. Salam Sahab.

Agree with you Abhijit bhai that Pt. Ajay Pohankars voice is a Gharana in itself... sublime... pure and divine

Excellent sarengi accompaniment, we are missing these days with the harmonium replacing the sarengi, may be due to a dearth of good players who might not be in demand for the performers to earn a nice livelihood as an accompanist to a vocalist.

Sarangi exactly follows the Gayaki. It has the softness and presentation. Its sad that some Sarangi players could not give it the due dignity. Some of them took it to kothaas. Some of them always tried to clash with the main artists in the performances. This created a discredit to this wonderful instrument.

Ajay Pohankarjji is asuch versitile talented gifted musician but unfortunately Hindi belt not recognizef his genius due to their bias narrow mind no doubt he is would class Master

I think it is dis-respectful to play recorded music of some other so so artist in front of a great like Ajay ji!! Just my thinking.
