I thought for sure I was going to prefer the flow with the lower bumper, but the driver side with the more aggressive rake is actually the clear winner in my opinion.

High in back gets my 👍. I did hvac from 86 until 2011 when I was paralyzed in a car accident . Best tin snips to buy are “ Midwest brand “ offset snips [ MWT-6510C ] as it keeps your hand above your cut especially when dealing with a long cut . You’re correct about the colors but reds are lefts as they cut counter clockwise circles (turning left) and vice versa . The mixup comes because right handed people use reds as their main cutters as left handed use green . For cutting your thick metals like you bracket get some “ bulldog “ snips [ MWT-6716B ] . Most all my other sheet metal tools were Malco brand . Keep the videos coming ❤ .

Your attention to detail is amazing. Most people would just weld them on and close enough and call it good. . 95% of the people would not notice but I guess when you build the caliber of cars you do,everything has to be perfect. You guy do great work and it shows.

Reds are lefts as they cut left counter clockwise and greens cut right ( clockwise) . Right handed people use reds and lefties use green because when using the snips it just feels natural . You’re using your dominant hand using the tool while using your non dominant hand to hold the metal up and that’s where people get confused . Yes , you’re correct that in the field if I asked someone to grab my rights they would get my reds most likely but that’s not what they’re sold as .

Personally I’d take an inch from the bumpers just thin them up

Looking at the car from straight behind taking into account the bumper is lower on the right it still looks like the right taillight hole is higher than the left🤔🤨
