Hi Nigel, your structures do certainly help you with some lovely pest free crops. Heat wave did arrive and the crops are suffering. Nice tour mate. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
Always love a muddyboots day
Excellent tour nigel must takes ages keeping on top of that lot you done a fantastic job well done mate 👍
Crappiest year I've known this year Nigel but what can you do? Just got to grin and bare it.😂 Cheers Dan 🍻

Hi Dan, my worst year for poor germination. Must have done 6 sowing of spring onions and hardly anything to show for it. Never had brassicas die in the ground before. So much for global warming!!! All the best…. Nigel
I'm down south, and my plots are slow also, now the jet stream is north of UK , we should have more warmer days. Even my bees took a while to get going. Spring was awful.
Love seeing the whole plot! Here in Chicagoland I have challenges the opposite as you with crazy hot weather very early. So lots of bolting and daily watering. Some plants seem to just be stalled and waiting out the heat.
Nigel, your garden is very full at the moment and looks really good. I'm coming around for lunch. 🤣🤣😋😋
I enjoyed the tour! We are having hot weather here! I’m very envious of your carrots 🥕, my germination rate has been horrendous, we had very variable weather after sowing which can affect germination. I think I will resow the bare patches this weekend. I’m very excited to have acquired some walking onion bulbils this season, I’m going to treat them like garlic and hopefully get large onions! Take care Klaus
Oh Nige it's not been a good growing year for me this year. All the best to you my Gardening Friend👍👍
great video nigel
Great video
Hi Nigel, Like you I have had some plants slow to get going but all are starting to catch up now, but we are going to get some better weather the start of next week if the weather forecast is anything to go by, nice tour by the way. be good all the best Wayne.
Hi Nigel those new banana shallots you mentioned we got through your recommendation and are very pleased with how they are growing.

Hi both, hope you are keeping well 👍 Yes the banana shallots are well worth the effort, the store for a very long time. 😀
Here he is. Alright Nigel.
Great stuff as always buddy. I love this time of the year! Need to sow my Winter Cabbages soon, thanks again for the reminder - dunno what I'd do without you!

And I'll take that as a nod to sow sow winter cauliflowers as well. Cheers pal 👍

@@MuddyBootz Good thinking, Batman!
Hi nigel, plots looking good as usual. But wanted to say my dwarf French beans are just the same as yours haven't moved for weeks. I'm in South Worcestershire.
Hi Nigel great tour im an old subscriber with a new channel Gary formally allotment adventure tv, have re subbed
it took me 3 attempys to get a cucumber to germinate. i changed my seed supplier and now have one called nimrod. i originally wanted a mini munch. tomatos are doing ok, but the first truss is highrt than i wanted. good job im sticking to 3 trusses. my bonus is down to the cooler weather of late. i sowed some lettuce a week ago and they germinated. unusual for this time fo tear, nigel.........................brian
Hello Nigel, In the vegepod there is a lid on top. Did you make the lid or did it come with it. I would like to make a similar bed with a lid like that. First I will have to draw it out and make the plans. Nice video today I do always learn something. Take care Cya next thyme, Steven

Hi Steven. The Vegepod comes with a hooped steel frame lid. You can then fit a mesh cover or a clear plastic cover. Check out my Vegepod build video and carrot hoop house video which show them in detail. The links are in the show notes 😊
