    Amazing work! you’re rebuilding a Revup! the most refined and advanced version of the VQ35DE! This is definitely going to be a must watch for me because everyone always builds HRs and tunes them etc. It’s time to finally show everyone the potential of a DE! There are many DE owners including myself that wish more people would give more love to the DE! Thank you! can’t wait for the series!

    Yeah, I love the DE. Never had any serious issue's so far. Besides vehicles that have came in that haven't been properly maintained etc. The engine is great, IMO

    Full Throttle Exactly! i’ve owned my DE for years and it has 170k miles and honest truth i never have to add oil between 3000 oil changes. Never had an oil consumption issue. Most people that complain beat them all to hell or never maintain them. the power is good in then

    Full Throttle Hi my local mechanic is in the process to rebuild my Infinity sedan G-35 2005 VQ35DE engine, because it lose compression in all 6 cylinders because for a very strange and unknown reason, a couple months back It lose almost 3 quarts of oil even the last oil change was very fresh with only 2,000 miles in the odometer and I use the best money can buy the Amsoil 100 % synthetic oil, that is supposed to last 10,000 miles before need to be replaced again. This happened even the engine was running absolutely perfect because last year my local mechanic did a full tune up all spark plugs were replaced, all the gaskets that were leaking oil were replaced also, the engine doesn’t smoke and it doesn’t leak even a single a single drop of oil in the floor either...🤷‍♂️🤔. In another youtube video a very experienced mechanic told me the following; Almost all this V-6 Nissan engines start burning oil around 80-100k miles. The damn VÍAS power valve in the intake manifold get stuck, and couple that with a posible evap leak and or a bad air sensor (but neither one was my case because all the sensors were replaced last year and the car was running perfect). Just normal wear but very easy lo overlook and next thing you know 2000 miles into your last oil change you are down 2 or 3 quarts. It seemingly happens just like that.

    I just got a G35 with a blown head gasket. (combustion to water in cyl #3) Started tearing it down to replace today and 2 of the 3 coils broke off and left some or all the boot. Any idea how to get them out of the oil tubes?

    Hey man just tuned in hoping to solve a problem maybe you can help me? I've rebuilt the engine not like rings and stuff like really internally. But it was running but i had low oil pressure so i fixed that, then I put it back together. Now i have low compression. Do you think it has to do with timing?

  • @fullthrottleperformance

    @fullthrottleperformance

    4 жыл бұрын

    What all did you replace? Oil pump? timing components? Because low compression shouldn't come from auxiliary replacements.

  • @youngmech9113

    Oil pump, rear timing cover, headgaskets, oil gallery gaskets. I did swap the camshafts timing Mark's so it was off timing. Maybe I didn't do the crankshaft timing correctly?
