Brett shows us around his crazy Nissan 350Z Drift Car! We find out how he got into drifting, what he's done to the car and what the go is with that massive wing!
We also take a close look at the car, and get to see it at it's Drift King best, during a Drifting SA event at The Bend Motorsport Park.
Released in 2003, the Nissan 350z (Fairlady Z Z33 in Japan) was born into a dynasty. The original Datsun 240z had revolutionised sports cars in the early 70s. The 260Z, 280Z & 300ZX that followed, were all sales successes and by the time Nissan was penning the 350Z, it had a lot to live up to.
Good thing it was a hell of a car. The VQ35 NA 6 cylinder was renowned for it's engine note, and the chassis grip was very impressive. The car was a hit, and eventually would be replaced by the similar 370Z and the forthcoming 400z.
In the years since release the 350Z has become an icon. From being Drift King's (DK) car of choice in Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift, to becoming an absolute mainstay of the JDM import scene. This example, is one of the best I've seen.
