This year’s new year’s message was recorded during the celebrations of the 350th Parkash Divas of Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji, tenth Guru of the Sikhs who was born at the place marked by the shrine: Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji, Patna Sahib in Bihar.
Bhai Sahib Ji shared:
Everyone of us always wonders how the new year will be. A few hour before the new year, we start to stocktake about what we did last year and how we can improve things in the coming year
Guru Ji poses the three keys questions that I speak about, we should ask:
Where am I from?
What am I here to do?
Where am I going?
This what we need to plan for. We are only alive if we take the next breath. We must plan for the future.
Guru Ji tells us that the world is on fire … and only God can save us from this fire. We should all pray that God blesses us and saves us, we are His children, he always listens, He can provide peace and happiness for all.
We should love, respect and forgive each other. This is very important, Guru tells us that forgiveness is a quality from God. This is the shortest route to meet God, we should forgive at all levels - this will lead to peace.
