Hey, Elena! So glad to hear you again! It seemed to me, a today's text was slightly sad, wasn't it? Sometimes, It's a pity to realize if you don't hurry up to do or perform anything vital in a while, you'll necessarily regret that. it's a true fact indeed 'cause I've been experienced by such similar situations pretty frequently. Thanks a lot, Dave, for your sincerity. Yes, the text is sad, yet there are some ideas you can think about. Our hero realized that he lost the possibility of his life (or maybe not, because he might talk to the woman and tell her about his feelings and she might feel the same). It might have happened because he didn't do anything, just waited. This episode might teach him not to wait too long. When I lose something, I ask myself a question - why did it happed? And to not feel sorry, I always tell myself "Наше от нас не уйдет. А что ушло - то не наше" (what is ours won't go away from us. And if it's gone, it is not ours.)

Как по мне то глагол see употреблен правильно, поскольку после made уже пропущен глагол be или feel что очень часто встречается. For example - It made James (be or feel) very happy to see Susan happy too.

"Fiancé", I first met this word while readind Bram Stoker's Drakula. Dr. Van Helsing, if somebody remember, mentioned this word. He named the Lucy's future groom "your fiancé". I have remembered this word' meaning because it sounds as like it came from Italy.

I think James should have been more careful and more counscious as well long before the tragedy. But now there's no any solution for him. He's not going to murder the lucky guy, right? (That won't save him anyway). Everything is over for James. In such an age, he won't be able to start his life from zero. It's really too late for him. I think he's going to stay lonely forever or even to end it all...

@@annaa9272 Oh, kind woman! Unfortunately, not 30! I’m already under 40, and I’ve never (how to escape this word?) had any relationships in my whole life. Women always choose the best, don’t they? I’m far not among the best… Anyway, I’m glad for you and wish you happiness. Trust me, loneliness isn’t a good thing.
