I have this bike. Its my commuter bike and i use it to deliver uber eats. I have bought the rear rack upgraded the tires to cst scout emoped tires. Also i upgrades the rear shock to hydraulic coil shock. I also upgraded the lower tube battery to a 30ah battery and the 160mm brake rotors to 180mm.I kept the 2 13ah batteries the dual version came with and swap them out on the top tube. I love this bike it really is a moped. It is really comfortable im 5'5 135 pounds though. For me its perfect and there aftermarket sales team will get you w.e parts u need i. I run it on a 30 ah battery and 13 ah battery for a total of 43ah. And have the other 13 ah battery it came with to swap out on top tube so i can ride as long as i want and not have range anxiety. I've put 4500 miles on it since i got it in late august. My next upgrade will be the controller. Even when you buy as is you get your money's worth. I loved it then but after making these upgrades im in love.

I also have a dual battery M20. It is my favorite ebike. Lots of fun to ride. Be aware that it does have budget components and due to the size and geometry the M20 may not be comfortable for some riders.

you should always use both batteries in parallel to split the current between the two and for equally discharge them.. nit switch a full and an empty together

Well, thats how I tested it. They are sending me the M20 2.0 and I plan on having them both going.

It’s important to know the difference between torque and wattage at least in a basic way like wattage is more like a n hp rating which is the speed the motor can get a job done in, they both go hand in hand but that’s why some take off slow but the wattage may allow it to reach higher speeds but for take off and towing hills winds etc torque is more the way the bike will lean which it’s the amount of turning force the motor has.

@@hgallegos915 No video as of yet am always riding it! Also want to get hold of a Sur Ron and disguise it to look like an old shopping bike with normal seat, pedals, pannier bags, front basket etc...Ultimate sleeper e bike 47 mph in stock form, but able to haul ass like crap off a shovel!

I have this bike. The only thing I didn't like about it was the non-adjustable seat which is placed super-low. Consequently, it's uncomfortable to pedal if you are over 5 ft 4 inches tall, which frankly is most of the people who likely will buy this bike. The width of the seat also inhibits pedaling and you can feel it heavily on your inner thighs if you are pedaling. The pedaling issue is so severe, I am thinking of trying to modify the seat to accommodate a regular bicycle seat, building some sort of superstructure over the original seat where a traditional bike seat can be mounted higher up to lengthen the pedaling geometry. You also pointed out the same thing in your video, 11:10 , but I think it needs special emphasis because there's a striking disconnect in design between the endurance of the bike (ie. long distance) and the pedaling geometry, which is definitely NOT for long distance. And that's actually why I bought it, for long-distance bicycle riding due to the 97 mi range. Turns out, it's actually quite poor for long-distance riding since the pedaling geometry is so gimped.

@scotthardesty The seat is also pretty hard in addition to the other issues listed above, and uncomfortable in that respect also after about 20 miles or so. I'm definitely going to have to modify the seat for posterior as well as pedaling comfort.

I am in California…and thinking about riding it on the bike lane…but it seems like the bike lane near my home only allows class 1 or 2 . Not class 3…so i am confused if I should pick this one or not…

It's a class 2 bike. But it gives you option to unlock it to a class 3.

It is not. With that said, the brake light works weather the tail light is on or not.

Question- when you charging the M20 battery and is plugged, to the power adapter, do you need to have the battery in the on or off position in order to charge the battery

I have just reviewed the DK300Max (dual battery, dual motors) and I love that thing. It rides higher than the M20 and it went a lot farther (even with the extra weight from the front motor). I am waiting to confirmation on specs from Meelod but that video is reading to go. Once I get confirmation on the motor sizes, (part of the webpage says 750W motors and right below it says 1200w with a max of 1500w). Once they answer that question, that video will be going up. The Meelod DK300Max became my favorite Moped style ebike. I say buy it.

I try not to test ebikes in the rain. Not for the issue of the bike itself, but it will mess up my microphone if it gets wet.

I believe this bike is rated IPX4 which means it can handle rain. I would hop into a ENGWE Facebook group (or reddit) as there are many people who have this bike in the UK and talk about it. I bet they can answer this question for you.

It looks like a moped and might attract more attention from LEO on park trails limited to Class "2"... But 55nm pwr is totally class 2. My folder is a sleeper, not attracting attention yet pumping out 80 nm torque!

I can see that. Although, so far, I have had no issues riding on trails and bike lanes from the law. I feel that with most any bike, as long as you are not a jerk doing stupid stuff, no one bothers you.

@@andrewreid380 Yup. I know who you are talking about. At my height, pedaling this bike is possible but not fun. That's why you only saw me pedal it to figure out how fast it goes in each PAS level. After that, I had no desire to pedal this bike. If you don't plan on pedaling the bike EVER (lol) you might be okay.

@@scotthardesty Yeah good video you done here covered the lot. I would be the same I would definitely ride this like a moped only. I'm in Ireland here the law is 15.5 miles an hour and not allowed a throttle. Nobody obeys that of course but this would definitely attract attention, I've only seen one here so far but it's a cool looking piece of kit.

​@@andrewreid380I am 6'2" and I tried the M20 the other day. Its a no pedalling bike at our height... Unless you stand up. Lengthwise no problems, the reach is pretty long. Depending on how long your rides will be, and how okay your knees are with being pretty flexed, this is a super cool, very fun bike 🤸

So if I use it for Uber eats Delivery , both battery are going to last for 2:30 hours only 🤧 but if my Speed is minimum , Can i do like 4 hours of uber with it??

I'm guessing so. I doubt that with food delivery, you would be pushing this bike as hard as I did. Although, I would use a different bike for food delivery (something I could pedal and has a rear rack to where I could put a delivery bag on the back and a step thru) if it was me.

I use this bike for uber eats before i upgraded the lower battery. I would get about 60 miles. I ride on mostly peddle assists but use alot of throttle. I since upgraded the lower tube battery to 30ah battery. I installed my self and use the 2 13ah batteries it came with for the top tube so i now have a total of 2688 wh of energy. It was easy to install the battery. I live this bike it's worth it if you want to do uber eats.
