@@onaretrotip Yes! This game provides you with several emerging stories. I was once looking around by car for supplies for my survivor base, just like in TWD. My gas ran out and I had to spend the night hiding in a pet store until dawn and run to some billboard, climb on it and try to spot a car or gas. And there is an established number of cars in the world, meaning that like the characters, if you kill a car, it won't come back and you need to use the next one you found.

A lot of promising looking games amongst those. I've always thought the 360 to be one of the most capable consoles ever made and it's library is so vast, I'm not surprised there are so many cancelled games to choose from. Great choices though Pete, really enjoyed this.

Yeah, there are probably hundreds of cancelled games, it took ages to whittle down to these 35. A lot of uninspiring games here, but equally a lot of promise. Thanks, Ant!

I was one of the engine programmers on Theseis. It was an extremely ambitious project, and it was a lot of fun working on it, because we had a great team, and we were doing some cutting edge work at the time. But it was completely mismanaged (almost unmanaged) and chaotic, and we ended up eating through the budget without having something completed to show for it. I really enjoyed it regardless. Fun times :)

Wait there was a Little Prince Video game ???? My god I love reading the book and there was also a Interactive activity on PC in the 90's (Still have it) It really sad me that this game was cancel :( I got to say Kinda shame some of them got cancel since some of their concept sound pretty good

I was bummed when I heard Demonik was canceled. Grandmas Boy was one of my favorite movies back in the day.

Yeah, the later builds of Captain Blood look really promising. I heard Six Days In Fallujah is back! Crazy.

28:08 I believe this could be a character with the ability to transform into forms based on elements. For example, wind, blowing harsh wind with their hands and flying, water, being able to launch water, maybe fill in a certain closed area that's too wide to jump to get across, then lava, which is basically the same as last, and Earth, where you could build covers and walkways with dirt and throw boulders at enemies. That's just based on the footage.

@@onaretrotip specifically it was over the use of white phosphorus if you wanted to look into it further. the developers have basically admitted to embellishing the story to make the us troops look heroic. pretty cringe imo.

I just got one cause I wanted to catch up on stuff I missed out on and replay some classics and it honestly is. It has so many coop games which the current gen forgot existed. Also im enjoying playing some of the pc games from my teenage years again from the comfort of my living room.

Wow that's a whole lotta games! On the face of the footage, would've loved to play Cry On, Chase or the third iteration of Captain Blood. The final game Road Trip looks great too. I think that probably could have been very good given Hydravision's history with multi-controllable-character survival horror with the Obscure series.

@@onaretrotip On the big uptake consoles that were really popular, it's got to be harder to narrow the list down to make a manageable episode I'm imagining. I'll be honest, even on that limited footage I would've taken someone's arm off with the speed I would've bought Chase, it's strange what publishers don't take up on.

@@voorheesretro8129 Yes, it takes aaages to narrow down because I have to first make a list, then find which have a good amount of info AND have some media available. The PS3/360/PC shortlist was hundreds to whittle down into 3 episodes, and even then it was 105 games (35 for each).

Pete, give Grandma's Boy a shot. I think it's one of the funniest movies, ever. Yeah, it's stupid, but it pokes fun at gamers and developers, in a loving way.

There was an fps game called Them, (or maybe it was They) that had like a horror alien theme. I swear it was real but I can’t find anything about it. I think it’s to vague to show up in search results Edit: I searched for “cancelled 360 fps games” and it was actually called They. It has a 7 minute video

Really interesting Pete. Some trash in there but some real good stuff too. Necessary Force looked very good. Blitz and Massive naturally appeals to me as a point & click fan... Looks a little like Encodya which is a recent PC release. The second iteration of Captain Blood looked excellent, why on earth didn't that get released 🤷🏼‍♂️ I'm amazed Furious 4 didn't get released.... Looked great fun👍

Always gutted when MS annouced they had cancelled the Freelancer Sequel. Loved Starlancer on PC and DC, Freelancer on PC and couldn't wait for a third title. The space sections in Halo:Reach did little to fill the void. Great to see you cover the 360 😍

Thanks for keeping me company at work for an hour, project offset looked brilliant a shame it disappeared. Beyond good and evil is one of my all time favourites, a sequel is probably the only thing that would persuade me to by a new console. Blitz and massive looked interesting. Chase looks great, as you say very mad Max. Enjoyed this mate, although I think they would all look better in 4:3 😆

As I said in the intro, there is considerable overlap with the PS3 and PC episodes when it comes to multiplatform games. But even then it's not a "complete" list as there are probably hundreds of cancelled 360 games. I never cover all of them, I hand pick some I think are worth showing.
