    If you replace std subframe to Stage6 or similar, you get more options to mount carb. I think it will improve handling and will reduce bouncing of the rear end also. Keep up the good work!

    I always need to drill the channel for the fuel so it can flow enough to the float. I had several PWKs where it didn't flow enough and died after a while at full throttle. Even if it flows well from the gas tank!

    So far my buddy who got an rc one that was tuned by a German company uses a 34mm carb. So far he's easily hitting the 90 mph mark. But it could also be due to the tuning from the german tuning company. It's stupid fast.

    Looks amazin, always a pleasure to follow what you're doing, love all the maching and extra details you're doing, have you ever had a though about changing your subframe to something stiffer? Maybe a fixed subframe to release the bouncyness on the subframe

    Stiffer would be good, but I don't want solid because of vibration since it's not a race scoot. Don't really know what's out there that still uses bushings. I definitely need to do something if I want it to launch, but suspension isn't really my thing.

    Dellorto vhsb 34 for power or even a 39-44 but thats for 125cc+! PWK even the polini opimizt one are a trade of! all brads have a name to make high qualitiy parts! but on a 2 stoke the carbe is the thing your brand name can do bad on! Malossi goes the eazy way, a well known 28mm cab with a lot of fallsave. A round slaider maks the carb more youser frendly. Special on half to max open. The aera over the mainjet is large! so you have alot off Venturi efekt working for you! so you are alway on the rich side when you close the trottle.Thats wen you close the thottel full and than go full thottle, the enginen needs a bit of time to rev up and make the power on the scooter. The PWK seris is a half flatt slider. its in between a eazy tune carb and a full power carb. the VHSB Series is a flat slider carb, designt for the 2 stoke moto GP 125/250/500cc in the lade 1980 (>1985) and optimizt in the 1990( 1994-1998 peak power). this carbs are a night maer to tune perfect! i know alot of engines that made way mot power with the VHSB than the PWK! 2fast100cc the vhsb34 made a 36hp! the pwk 31 biddalot vhbs made 34hp! the pwk 29.5 malossi 96 core 31hp. the pwk 28

    Why do a few people use the carburettor in the cylinder direction? And mostly in wheel direction.

  • @49ccscoot

    @49ccscoot

    8 ай бұрын

    If you think about which direction the mixture is going after the carb, it makes the most sense to orient the carb this way and it's typically easier to make the shortest path this way.

    my rc-1 is so loud, do you have any recommendations to quiet it down?

  • @49ccscoot

    @49ccscoot

    7 ай бұрын

    A couple. Malossi's silencers use pretty small holes in the baffle. The silencer could be modified or replaced. I have replaced one of the MHR silencers with a Yasuni silencer on my TRP 86cc and that quieted it down a bit. That's shown in the link below. Diameters are a little different on the RC-1 pipe, but we fit one to Ryan's RC-1 with a similar setup. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qayburOjgtzHmLw.htmlsi=SFM751l0Yx8ureDL&t=1784 The other big source of noise is the pod filter. I haven't tried them yet, but maybe check out Polini Thor airboxes. An airbox and the right silencer should quiet it significantly. This is something that I've really wanted to do as well, but just haven't got around to it yet.

    If you're judging piston to cylinder clearance by wiggling it in the cylinder, you're doing it wrong. There's no way you are going to be accurate like that. I show proper piston to cylinder clearance checks in great detail here : kzread.info/dash/bejne/gJ6drJuMmsbKdMY.htmlsi=q9-Txo-l0Ym9drx1
