These take a lot of the fiddlyness (new word for the dictionary) out of foil o impressioning, still can be a bit of a faff but better. Over several locks I got varied results but most were quite fast. Thank you for dropping in Lady Locks.

It was new to me as well. I was looking for a kit for work and thought "Oh what's this"? Then further inspecting I thought that it was different and looked very cool and was actually very good value for money. The 200 foils are worth easy £10 and that's more than half the price. I have tried them in several locks and a couple were this fast, some took about 15 seconds to open and one took over a minute. Results vary and this was just the first lock I chose for the video because its the one I locked myself out of 😂 I have another one of these locks in a different door that previous impressioning took longer. Maybe I should try it in that one too see of it's as fast. Cheers buddy 🙂👍

It's great to play with either way as it's possible a lot of pickers have at least a couple of dimple locks and they can always search for more. At the time I paid about £19 which is about approx $22. The three profiles and the fact you get so many foils makes it a bargain. Even if the cost is a little higher its still worth it. After all they are really cheap composers to Lishi picks and you get 3 profiles.

I tried it on several locks and the results were that most were quick. This is a very tidy kit and I think the fact they throw in 200 foils as opposed to about 10 in other kits makes these tools a really good price. Appreciate you dropping by Dmac 🙂👍

The other kits work well but can be very fiddly, this one takes a good bit of the fiddly stage out. Doesn't work on all dimple locks but it works on a lot. And having three profile blades you will get them in a lot of locks, including some Mul-T-Locks. Would have been good to have a couple of smiley profiles in there too. Cheers Paul.

Three common profiles and 200 foils.... and in a case too. Now I call that a really good price. Thanks Derek for dropping by to take a look.

I haven't seen these before Roy! Nice find. I think I will pick myself up the set. Looks a bit more refined that the old style kit.

It's certainly easier to use. I guess the downside is the profile blade snapping. The old style you could just buy a new blade. But to be honest I have never snapped a profile blade at all. I think this that have done so have been a little too heavy handed. Thanks for watching 🙂👍

They carry the three most common profile blades so fit almost all dimple locks. There are of course the really strange profiles in locks that they won't fit. There is a version of these with 5 profiles but to be hones the extra two really just fit locks found in China. Cheers Jack.

The prices always fluctuate on these sites so you could wait a bit and keep watching for the price to come down. When I got mine it was £12.95 and the rest was vat and delivery which made it around £19. Hope this helps PW 🙂👍

Great demonstration. These definitely seem better then the one I seen you demo before. Possibly a dumb question, but how many different brands of locks, do the 3 cover? Is it just 3 or a wide range?

I have the old style foil kit from China. It came with about five different keyways. Only one fit my dimple locks. I think the various tips fit Chinese locks. They would not fit my Master Lock, Abus. Don’t know if it is worth the gamble to purchase, but it is a nice set of tools.👍🦊

The three profile blades fit a huge range of locks. Some lock companies have arrange profiles, those ones none of the blades will fit. From the three blade kit though I have had them in Tesa and Mul-T-Lock so there you go. Like I said though, they are the most common 3 profiles which is used by an arduous lot of lock companies in a good range of models. Cheers Rook the Knight 😉

A cheap way of foil impressioning is to grind off the dimples on a key. Take some thick baking foil (Costco foil is perfect), make the shape of the foil (a bit more tricky) and you have a simple foil impressioning kit. Cheers Brett.
