Thunder head is so cool. I LOVE the fact that you can just jump out of the forerunner tower and just land on the ground superhero style. it was so cool just jumping out alongside the other spartans.

I wonder if these maps have a heavies variant that’ll drop next week when heavies is rotated in. It would be a blast with these new maps. Insolence is definitely my favorite, and dual scorpion and wraith spawns would go crazy on it.

The new map that has a night setting feels like its ripped straight out of the halo 2 campaign, i love it

I still can’t believe that in two years post release infinite added only one new weapon and zero vehicles. Cod which isn’t a live service game gets like 3-5 weapons every season

These new maps are amazing. I had alot of fun today playing on them. I got them every time I searched for a match. I didn't like a couple at first but they grew on me

Can’t wait for the Firefight refresh, this is the first time I’m hearing about it so thank you :)

I really hope to see more community Firefight maps added into the playlist. Playing some of the classic maps just don't feel right with Firefight. Live Fire, Vallaheim, Behemoth, Oasis and Deadlock just don't feel right for me. Launch Site, Exiled, and Kuishi Bay are the only ones that feel like Firefight and not just Warzone without REQs.

Fortitude so far is my favorite, love the cave and tunnel system. The fact that all these maps are vehicle friendly is great, I just hope 343 will finally make a true btb map, after looking at how these ones play.

BTB is my playlist so im loving this update.

I generally quite like the maps and the inclusion of a solid anti-air weapon (that being the m41 tracker), though I have 2 pieces of feedback for these maps. 1. These maps need adjustments, as some of the ones I played feel much more like 8v8 maps instead of 12v12 2. Replace the m41 tracker with a legacy m41 that locks onto aircraft only, as the current M41 tracker is less anti-air than anti-everything

Played 3 games and went back to firefight. I don’t feel like being in a life or death ultra sweat tournament over and over again. SBMM has been absolutely busted lately and drained all the fun out of it for me.

Same here. The lobbies I was getting thrown in had diamond and onyx players I had to power sweat just to get a couple kills. Back to ranked and firefight for me.

I'm not good at BTB, cause I suck, but I'm good at firefight, I'm just waiting for the firefight update. But the maps are insanely well made, I love the way they look, the design. Makes me feel like it's the old days again

I just really want to see Firefight get the love it deserves. It shouldn’t be relegated to a multiplayer mode afterthought. It should have its own expansive menu in the game packed with different game modes and all, as any other Firefight before it has had. The PvE in Infinite is super fun and Firefight has been a favourite of mine since ODST. KoTH FF is fun and all but I want a classic endless mode as well, I want to be able to easily tweak enemy spawns for fun crazy experiences like only Hunter spawns or even only Boss spawns since in this game we have actual bosses we can use now. There’s so much potential for Firefight and I hope it gets the love it deserves before this game is out.

In my opinion some of the new maps are better suited for Squad battle over big team battle but nice to have more maps for that playlist.

So glad BTB is getting some love! These maps are great.

Obviously refuge is the proven son here but fortitude and obituary also flow well and look great. Thunderhead is a cool idea and some things look beautiful while there are a lot of what I like to call "forge lines" throughout the terrain on the map. Insolence is kind of a stinker but ill take it

The h2 remake of that metropolis map is really dope

I would like then add an mechanic where your shields start recharging right after you get a kill the amount of the times I’ve died bc I was 1 shot after a fight and it took to long for it to heal up

I want to see elites playable again and for the very first time i want to see brutes playable can u imagine the armor sets and customization for both of them? Oh and assassinations back want to see brutes brutally assassinating elites like in the trailers

They need to add normal firefight to match making instead of the king of the hill one and i feel like they should take out the h3 playlist and add a halo ce playlist or just a community arena playlist and add new maps to squad battle

That's cool. Will ranked playlist get additional maps too? Add in the H3 maps or something. Current maps are getting stale now.

The desert one is my favorite by far, it looks so good

Weird thing is that either i'm getting super boring passive team matchs or that the maps are way too big cause theres barely any fights

Played probably 20 something BTB games today and didn't get Thunderhead once, annoying considering it was the one I was most looking forward to. (wish the playlist was on the 5 new maps for the first week or so).

Curious why so many people use yellow for enemy colors instead of red. Is it higher visibility?

I guess its because yellow resembles how energy shields would flare up when you shot enemies in previous halo games

Worst part about the update was having to play deadlock three times for each one time I got a new map. Would be a lot better if they put them in their own playlist first

Anybody else missing the PvE gametype Bot Bootcamp and the maps it used, seems 343 Hates it for no good reason.

I wish they added this last week cuz it would have made the update a lot less underwhelming

I doubt the FF update will be next week. I don’t think there’s ever been any notable updates a week apart in this game. It’ll prob be in 2 weeks atleast. This update was so sorely needed, it’s so sad it took over 2 years to finally get it

Last nights update is exactly what Halo Infinite needed. The playlists where getting so boring. The amount of maps on Forge that they have available to them is massive, they need to supercharge their process of getting them into the multiplayer and the remainder of Infinite until the next game will be fine. Husky Raid, Squad Battle and Firefight need the refresh next. But even after they do that they have to keep the forge maps coming at a decent pace if they are going to try charge us ridiculous money for cosmetics.

Real BTB is 8v8.

5 new maps my a**...I kept getting Insolence for 2 hours straight and if not that map the other regular maps >:(

First match was stockpile with 4 people on the enemy team cheating, 150! Secures and had to wait the timer out

Thought I didnt like BTB, turns out I just didnt like the maps.

just played some of the new maps and these are a billion times better than the dev made maps. was amazed doing that big base jump at the beginning and the other maps play so well. just that one halo 2 remake is kind of cheap. shame how paid devs couldnt make great experiences like these. only loving fans can make true halo maps

@@dc3747 Nah, Bungie had DLC, but in the form of paid map packs. Halo 2, 3 and Reach all had them. If people rage about a single $10 purchase to get all 5 seasons, imagine how they'd hate paying $20 for 9 maps without a Forge to make your own, like the Halo 2 "multiplayer map pack" (very creative name)

I don't hate it, I just think it's super inconsistent. If 343 spent more time working on it, I think people would enjoy it more. Classic vehicle spawns are far more reliable imo!

It's mostly the fact, that it gets inconsistent, sometimes your team gives a mongoose while the enemy gets a god damn scorpion. It's the most aggravating shit.

The problem with the pelican system is people have asked for it to be reworked. Some suggested heavy vehicles spawning on base while the pelican drops lighter vehicles (banshee, wasp,mongoose,ghost) but in one ear,out the other. It's a great concept,just executed horribly

Yeah....ive been playing H5. All the weapons, Spartan abilities and vehicles are just as great at as i remember. Honestly, Infinite feels kinda like a downgrade.

*FIRST!* Also, that jump on the map is SCARY INSANE!
