I had a 71 turbo beetle with a 2400cc. It made 400hp and was beating mustangs back in the day.

It sounds like it has kind of a hot cam, and perhaps no "fast idle"... is that the reason for the extra steps involved for cold start? Heck of a build!!

You can absolutely tune a good cold start into FuelTech. It has nothing to do with aircooled vw's, it's all in the tuner.

It sounds mean as hell bro beautiful Car I. In process of building Type 4 2.0 ltr out of Bus im going stroke ut to 2.7 ltr I'm hoping for 450 WHP.

If this engine was in a car for which it was built for, we would not have to wait so long for a warm up, I suppose. Why is it necessary with a beetle?

Have you considered using Porsche Fan Shroud win 911 Alternator would give you all power you need and cool the engine better.

Not a carburetor. I'm not sure of the programming capabilities of the Fuel Tech FI.

I think it’s a Mexi/ Brazilian bug not a super- the late ones had elephant feet rear lights, he could change the rear wings/lights/bumpers to make it look 70’s or 60’s with more
