She sounds great.

If I recall the high temp coolant light is located on the rear of the head. Could be in the regulator hsg. Either way the sensor could be N/O or N/C. Should be a single wire, so remove the wire and see if the light goes out. If so the sensor is N/O. If the light stays on, ground the wire to a good ground point. If the light goes out you have a N/C sensor. Once you know if either one of them turns the light off, the problem is in the sensor. If you can't get the light out, it is in the wiring or warning bar.

The light has stayed on sents I pull the Detroit out so I will try to ground that wire thanks a lot

Charlie could you please let me know what did you do to the cat engine and how much was the money put into it?

I changed the oil the hoses and painted it I paid 3200 for the engine it runs down the road every day

put 3406b and you'll get way more views
