At least an '83, not an '86. 1983-84 grille and headlight bezels, dimmer switch on floor, wiper switch on dash, both of those moved to the column in 1984. Factory tach is a bonus, rare to find one after 1982, it was moved to the LPO (Limited Production Option) list.

I had a ‘86 k20 suburban with a smogged out choked up small block 350, it too was 4wd with a th400….that thing was a turd, before that i had an ‘81 k10 suburban with a gm goodwrench replacement motor 350 and 4wd th350 setup and that thing was a beast…it would go anywhere anytime on any amount of oil…basically what im saying is i couldnt kill that truck for the life of me, it took a beating and judt kept coming for more…i remember working construction with that truck snd all the guys jaws would drop when id go swing doughnuts in thst thing on dry asphalt with 33’s…i took a minute to swing that ass around the first swing but after that the momentem just kept building up and that thing would just plant the front left tire and dance around it like nothin……someone stole that truck one night when i was out partying😢😢😢 since then i had a couple of ‘68/‘72 c10’s which the ‘72 got stolen…the ‘68 i LS swapped and sold for a profit, they were both longbeds so now harm, this was before cutting frames became trendy….couple years back (2018) i picked up a ‘73 c10.. this time a swb fleet😊😊😊…it had a half missing 250 straight 6 and granny 4 spd…within a week of getting it home i had it LS swapped with a 3000 stalled th350 and a couple months after that i put a vortech supercharger on it and put shiny paint on it…i drive it whenever i get a chance now and it sounds killer….i think i have a couple quick videos of it and my supercharged LSA nova on my channel if you wanna see them!!!

I once bought an old 1972 Ford pick up truck, sight unseen for 150 bucks. It has been sitting in a farm field for a number of years and the exhaust system had fallen off. I showed up with a fresh battery, and containers of various vital fluids. After a little coaxing, it woke up, but it was unhappy. After a couple more startups, it started feeling better about itself. I drove it home, and after a couple weeks sorting out the details, I had a decent running truck. Never underestimate what these old things will do.
