33202 Dennis G Robinson working the 1W07, 1230 Dereham to Wymondham Abbey service at the Mid Norfolk Railway Gala in 2024. This end to end journey is an enjoyable ride with this preserved "Slim Jim" Class 33 Crompton, filmed from the front drop down window, immediately behind the engine, capturing the thrash from the best position on the train... At times it's Hellfire! Enjoy the on screen telemetry and information. Best heard through headphones..

Mid norfolk used to put on some fantastic galas back in the day. Unfortunately last weekend it seems as though all the crews forgot where the power handle is

I think they were watching the speedo at times..got some good noise out of the 37!

@@hellfiretvmh thought that may have been you at the front window when I saw the GoPro clamped onto the door. Captured a couple of good runs, the 37 was definitely the best thrash and the 33 next. 47580 was ok. 596 trickled along. May well have been right about speedo watching, there was a smartly dressed chap stood in a vestibule further down the train staring intently at his GPS the whole journey.

@@avocet89 interesting someone was bemoaning the reduced thrash... perhaps we know why! Btw I don't use a Go- pro I have my secret weapons for filming!

@@hellfiretvmh aha, I just saw a small-ish camera and assumed GoPro 🙃 Whatever it is, top quality 👌I was a couple of windows back with my 5yr old who also enjoys a bit of window hanging. The vids on my channel were mostly done on Hi8 or VHS, and a bit of sponge on elastic over the microphone to reduce the wind noise
