I’m amazed how much care the chef takes, just to prepare a mushroom…abundance from simplicity.

This matsutake mushroom is amazing. If it's too big, it won't taste good, so it's just the right size. These mushrooms are so high-quality that you are not even allowed to wash them.

I idolize how Aden Films does their videos. Served as an inspiration to even pursue making my own channel, continue making content like this. Cheers!
When I came to Japan for my honeymoon, it would cost 90,000 yen for two people, but with food of this quality, I think it will be a memory that will last a lifetime.
Another silly question - how is the tip situation in Japan? Similar to the US? Or is the tip already included with the service charge?
@michaellow4368

Tip alway included current up to 15% few years back was 10% encounter many time hotel staff's refuse to accept tip. we therefore usually placed Tip in a envelope put it at the bed side.

When people overseas think of Wagyu beef, they may imagine marbled and oily meat, but I would like you to enjoy the lean meat of Wagyu as well. I think the mellow, natural aroma and flavor of the meat makes it a great experience! By the way, the wasabi that the chef introduced is real wasabi. Cheap wasabi is colored horseradish and has a completely different taste and aroma!

The balsamic did not seem that thick in texture from the close up. Older balsamic is very syrupy. So I'm going to say it was not that old. I'm sure high quality nonetheless.
Such extravagance for a ridiculously small amount of food. Seriously with a side dish of a half-inch bell pepper that is smaller than a finger? Hahaha
