Luka’s team for the entire time he’s in been in the league has had none of those intangibles except for the one year where they miraculously went to the WCF. Brunson left and KP was battling injuries every other week and yet tatum fans tries to use winning against him. Tatum has everything he needs to win a championship. Good front office, great coaching, talent,leaders,etc. Steph bron jokic Luka Giannis all would’ve won with that Celtics team by now.

@@sld3577 I frankly find the Tatum vs Luka comparison to be kinda dumb. If we wanna compare careers sure, but raw skill cant be compared if they play different positionally. Luka is a point guard in a forwards body and Tatum is a proto-type for the modern 2 way wing. Team success also shouldnt matter if they both have had different levels of supporting cast (Luka has had by far a worse supporting cast by this point)

On the Celtics take I disagree with Drew using the fact that Joe Mazzulla was coaching his first season. The Celtics had so many self-inflicted wounds because they simply didn’t take the competition seriously. They thought they could walk into the Finals again and got lucky that against Philly for game 6 and Tatum went off in Game 7 and that gave them unearned confidence. Then Miami smacked the shit out of them and before they played to their potential it was too late. Also spare the “if Tatum doesn’t get hurt” excuse because the Celtics were a lucky tip-in away from being sent home in 6 and not even playing in Boston again.

But also it wasn’t a travel, it just shouldn’t have been called a foul in the act of shooting. Maybe if Horford played better defense that wouldn’t be an issue. And you still have to make the FTs in order to take the lead. The Celtics could barely do that at an above average rate

Burrow's first full year starting he went to the Super Bowl and had the worst OL, even before the injuries they had that no one talks about, ever taken that far in the playoffs and ran into a DL with 2 first ballot hall of famers and lost by 3 points. His 2nd year he went to the AFC Championship game and lost by a last second field goal because a penalty push the Chiefs in FG range meanwhile he had 3 backup linemen in blocking for him which allowed Chris Jones to wreck the game (he was nonexistent when they played all of their starters on the OL in the regular season). I'm not discrediting Hurts but to act like they could switch positions and Hurts would excel and Burrow wouldn't is just insane.

We’re still talking about Gianni’s’ limitations, he already transcended his limitations.
