    Jimmy Butler has the most 40 point playoff games since joining Miami, Miami has the most playoff wins since he’s joined Miami, he’s beating Giannis multiple times with less talent, he’s beat Boston multiple times with less talent, his resume is insane. If course he’s one of the best playoff performers of this generation. Even before Miami, when Embiid and Ben was breaking down, he took Kawhi to Game 7 at the buzzer

    "The most 40 point games in the playoffs since joining maimi" sounds great until to actually check and see that he's had 6 games with atleast 40 and then in the same span of playoff games he's had 21 games in which he's failed to score 20 points in a game and that's my issue with Jimmy, he's wildly inconsistent and from a game to game basis if that was KD, Lebron, Steph, Jokic, Luka, Tatum or Embiid they get an onslaught of slander from the general public.

  • @np134

    @np134

    And then not to pile on, he's been in 64 playoff games in Maimi and he's shot under 45% 29 times. So that's nearly half his games. So again, not consistent enough to be labeled a superstar.

  • @RealRobbyRobb

    @RealRobbyRobb

    @@np134 that’s extremely disingenuous because half of that 20 is games where we blew teams out and games where Jimmy Butler got injured and didn’t finish the game. Shooting under 45% and winning isn’t a bad stat. Kawhi’s efficiency, Steph’s efficiency, and plenty others in multiple playoff series wins TANKED Jimmy has been consistent enough to have the most playoff wins, Jimmy has been consistent enough to beat those who you would deem superstars head to head, with Less talent on his roster. Jimmy did something that Lebron couldn’t, beat Jokic in denver. And I bet you’ll call Lebron a superstar

  • @jeremyadom5672

    @np134 it's funny that Jimmy is inconsistent compare to Embiid who hasn't done shit in the postseason like not lead his team to an ECF and Jimmy in two in the last four years has been to the NBA finals while beating Giannis and Tatum both years and beat Embiid last postseason. Miami is the best team in the East and has been since 2020. The so called best teams in the East, Miami has beaten them and Jimmy has been the primary reason for the Heat's success.

    @@jeremyadom5672 imagine using Embiid to try big up Jimmy. No one on EARTH would call Embiid a legendary/superstar playoff performer, theyd say hes a dog shit choker. So using Embiid to try and explain y Jimmy is a legendary playoff performer is fucking stupid. Fact of the matter is Jimmy is inconsistent as fuck and when hes had the biggest games/series, he plays dog shit. People dont care that Jimmy lost to the Nuggets because the Nuggets were heavy favourites, but its the fact he played DOG SHIT in those games. They got blown out by Denver, because Jimmy was dog shit. Y'all put Jimmy on this pedastal but compare him to guys who people say ARE exceptional playoff performers n said players biggest ever moments, none of them r dog shit. Luka - Destroyed the Suns in game 7 and if u wanna talk about his Warriors series after that, Luka averaged 32, 9 and 6. Again even tho he lost to the Warriors, Luka still played good even tho his team was dog shit n they were massive underdogs/over achievers. Giannis - Biggest moment, NBA finals. I also think Giannis playoff success is also overrated but in his BIGGEST ever series against a very talented Suns team, Giannis drops 50 in a elimination game and averages 35, 13 and 5. Thats legenedary shit. Steph - In his first ever NBA finals, Steph fucking cooks averaging 26, 5 and 6 with 2 steals per on great efficiency. Leads that team to there first ring n should of won finals mvp. Jokic - His first NBA finals, where it matters. 30, 14 and 7 on insane efficiency. Putting y'all in a pack. Not choking or playing dog shit, n sure his team was better but he was still exceptional. He didnt drop off like Jimmy did Now lets look at Jimmy - His biggest NBA finals ever again where it matters. Been great (although overrated) in the series before that. But this is what makes you a LEGENDARY playoff performer. He doesnt need to win but he needs to play good. Dude drops 21, 4 and 6 n plays dog shit for nearly every fucking game. Im sorry I dont care how good Jimmy plays before the finals, no one gives a fuck or remembers about it until its time to show up. N when it was time to show up, he showed he wasnt as great as the likes of Luka, Steph, Giannis, Jokic etc. Hes overrated as fuck, his playoff games were overrated. Had some great games sure, but a lotta games had his role players out shine him. Hes not great, hes not that calibre

    I mean I gotta go with joel on this one, as a jazz fan look at stockton and malone, they were great reg season and playoffs but when they got to the finals they did not perform and so when you go back into the debates of "best players ever" guys like Tim duncan, magic johnson, I guess maybe you could say larry bird for malones case (he was more of a lead gaurd though) they are ranked higher because those guys won championships and the jazz played like trash in the finals, with those two guys.

    I didn’t blame jimmy for passing it too much at first because his teammates stepped up until after game 2 of the nba finals. He should’ve been more aggressive in games 4 and 5. What he did in game 5 at the 4th quarter was enough if he played decent in the first 3 quarters.
