I had a Chrysler Sebring that had the same problem ... same engine ... same fix. Clean the carbon off and it makes a world of difference. Some air flow sensors also get dirty and can be cleaned. Good job trouble shooting and saving a ton of cash! By the way ... I subbed ya!

Adjusting the biss screw sets the iacv to tell the ecu the idle is at 700. Raising the idle up that way would force the ecu to lower the revs to get back to 700rpms if I'm not mistaking. This can actually give you a lot of problems.

Is 700 the correct idle. I read somewhere that it should be 750

Also heads up for anyone, the it’s a Philips head screw just use a screwdriver to remove the IACV it’s a lot easier you can fit a socket over it but it’s less of a pain to just get a screwdriver in there...remove the batt and the hose from the throttle body side first of course

The Throttle plate is very dirty ....more training ,.guy Closed it leaks air past the plate the dirt/ grease blocks that
