    Hello my friend, I wonder; Don't you have recycle place for all your glass? Then you can drive this into this place, instead of the Dumbster lot. Other wise it will take one million year before the glass is breaken down, to dirt-level. I just love your videos, where you are cleaning your work-shop. Love it.

    That's a ton of transformers and bus bars. Hell of a job to grind through all those. That's a great idea about a security cage for the back door fan to stop anybody from walking right into the shop.

    It's amazing how just a Sweep up improved the look of your shop. I just want to come there and clean and organize your shop for you.     Nice production here! When I strip junk transformers I always wonder if knife makers could use the center steal layers to make domestic knives as it's like 50 layers of steal.

    Interesting, I don't know if the steel would be good for holding an edge. Transformer & electric motor steel is called silica steel and is actually worth more money than #1 prepared steel but you need 20 tons to get the better price.

    It's probably a marginal profit but it'd be a way to deal with it. There are companies that recycle glass that's clear which is what you're getting out of those lights if you'll bust it up into small pieces usually they'll bring you like one of those heavy lift bags that will pick up about two or three tons at one time.

    Before LED light's I could do 1-2 tons a day. I think the most I've picked up and ran in 1 day was 3 tons.

    They have been slowly going away for the past 5 years. There will always be transformers but the lighting one's will eventually be phased out to LED. I plan on recycling AC scrap and electric motors. Also there will always be copper wire.

    I can't speak for everyone but if you do it right you can make some decent money. You won't get more money at the scrap yard but if you sell it on line you can.

    Idk what’s wrong with my scrap yard but I just brought in a broken down CT scanner 3000 pounds of solid steel and they gave me “torch iron” which is less than scrap. I’ve never gotten “prepared steel for prepared steel which I thought was more money than scrap????? Have you ever gotten the torch steel category thrown on your ticket???????

    I don't even know what torch iron is. lol I've only gotten shred steel witch is anything bigger than 4'x4' , thin sheet and got plastic, wood, or insulation mixed in and #1 prepared witch is 4'x4' or smaller, clean and heavy gauge. They don't give you #1 prepared for transformer steel?

    No they won’t give me prepared steel for anything. Everything heavy and thick is always torch iron. Lower price than sheet metal…. Regular sheet metal/scrap .075 a pound and “torch iron” .06

    I had a buddy Jason Redmond he drove 100 miles every day from home to work then back home he fell asleep on the way home from work he run into the ass end of a tractor 🚜 when the farmer woke him up the hay fork was a inch from his face few weeks later fell asleep again crashed and never woke up again 😢😢😢😢😢😢😭😭

    I dint have time to build a press but you can buy one. watch my channel search transformers and I have many videos where I show how I made the press. Also look for the play list building the copper king where I break the hole press apart.
