We have been using a 300 watt inverter for the last year along side our 3,000 watt inverter.
In this video I show you that you CAN power a small TV and charge a laptop using a small "Pure Sine Wave" power inverter connected to your existing battery system.

Do you use a small inverter in your RV? Do you have a pure sine wave inverter ?

Pure sine wave definitely. I dont want to destroy the electric appliances

How long do you figure you could use a 300w car lighter inverter for if you had you laptop plugged into it and you werent driving? How long would be safe enough to pull power without draining the car battery?

Depends on how old battery is and allot of other things. Only do it while car is running. Safe bet

@@RVKevin I'm really not good at this stuff so thanks for your answer. What does bumping up the wattage to 500w do? Charge laptops/phones faster?
